The scene opens on Derrick Vayden and Magic Maddox sitting at Maddox's locker. Magic held his head in his hands, lamenting over a loss in his recent championship match...
"What do you think I need to get over that hump?" Vayden asked Maddox.
"If I knew, don't you think I'D be cruiserweight champion right now?" Maddox asked, frustration seeping out with every word.
"I guess, but you almost had him! One more thing going your way and you would've won!" Vayden said, trying to cheer his partner up.
"Yeah, well..."
"Maybe I need some higher power in my corner, like you."
"Maybe that'll work..."
Vayden thought for a moment, trying to think of an answer to his own conundrum.
"Hey, can you give me God's number?" Vayden asked.
"Um... No." Maddox replied.
"Satan's?"
"NO!"
"Damn... Maybe I gotta think of something else..."
"Well, whatever happens, I wish you good luck," Maddox said, extending his hand for Vayden to shake.
"Thanks, brother. When I win, you get first shot," Vayden said, shaking Maddox's hand, only to quickly retract his own hand, his eyes wide in surprise.
"Heh... Sorry. Electricity, you know how it is," Maddox said, an apologetic smile on his face.
"Yeah... I guess," Vayden said before turning and walking off.

The scene shifts. Vayden sitting in a dark, secluded part of the arena.
"I know what went wrong during my last title match..." Vayden said, looking down at the floor. "I was afraid.
"I was afraid of the responsibility that comes with being champion. I've held plenty of gold in the past, but none of this scale. Those titles are peanuts compared to AW.
"But now I've overcome those fears. I'm ready to take my rightful place at the top of the cruiserweight division. It's time for me to rise above them all. It's time for my fears to die... and all I need to do so is get passed the piss poor chump that calls himself the champion of the cruiserweights, Alexander Pasternak."
Vayden takes a deep breath and looks up into the camera, a small, cocky smirk on his face.
"I only debuted here a month ago and I've been killing it ever since. A barn burner against QDT at Havoc, forming a formidable partnership with Magic Maddox, the list goes on... When was the last time Pasternak did anything of note? Well, to answer that, we need to go back three months ago at #effinrager when he and Wade- William? He and Moor won the tag titles.
"However! Surprise, fuckin' surprise! That was also a tainted victory. Pasta pinned ZMac after taking him to #DickKickCity. Now, I'm all for a good dick kick, it's just that fast count by fellow #BeachBum member, Jared Holmes that mires the victory.
"So, what's my point? My point is that Pasta Snack can't win a belt, or anything, for that matter, under legit circumstances. Why should I fear someone who resorts to outside help and sneaky tactics to win his matches for him? I haven't needed any help winning and won't need any help kicking his sorry ass.
"Here's my biggest problem with this ignoramus... He thinks he can just waltz into the 201 division and toss us around like it's nothing. Well, Magic proved he's nobody to take lightly. Give QDT a fair shot and he'll kick Pasternak's head off of his shoulders every time. Then there's me. I may be new here, but ask Carlos Lopez or Power Perez what I'm capable of. Michael Trapson and Daniel Westbrook will attest to how much I hurt them.
"Don't underestimate me, Pasternak. It'll be the biggest mistake of your career... and I know you've made a few."
Vayden stands up from his chair and gets face-to-face with the camera.
"It's Derrick Vayden's time to shine. I've come within fingertips of winning the title in the past. This time, there's nothing stopping me from winning it all. At Clash... myself, my victory, and MY cruiserweight championship will be...
Legendary...
