Nolan Steele: Its time for Alpha! Thanks for joining us now on Paramount+! We're excited for one finale to Season 1 of OCW and tonight it's ALPHA!
The tension is eased a bit when Jay Voice (whatever or whomever the fuck that is) is heard.
Jay Voice: The culmination of the most prestigious tournament in Omega Championship Wrestling is upon us!
The thousand fans in attendance go wild.
Nolan Steele: It might be the only tournament in--
Jason Cade: PRESTIGIOUS!
Jay Voice: Our main event match for the Omega World Championship has some exciting special guests.
The camera pans over to the front row where we see two women and two men.
Jay Voice: Let’s give a warm welcome to tournament participants Erika Crawford… Victoria Strader… and Timothy Gates!
Jay Voice: As well as OCW founder… Michael Cade!
They pop huge.
Jason Cade: What?! How did HE get in here?!
Nolan Steele: My guess would be that he was invited to be here.
Jay Voice: And now…
Jay Voice: IT’S TIME!
The lights go out and a video appears on the OmegaTron, highlighting the tournament matches that brought Kallan Jaxson and Jacob Koenig to this epic encounter.
Main Event | Tournament Finale
Omega World Championship
Kallan Jaxson vs. Jacob Koenig
Jay Voice: The following match is your main event!
The fans pop.
Jay Voice: And it is the final match of the Omega Championship Wrestling World Championship Tournament!
The fans pop huge. Spotlights soar around the room and “For The Glory” by All Good Things starts to play.
♫ Better back down, you're in my domain
Got the whole crowd screaming out our name
It's a blowout, it's a hurricane
It's over before you know it
Why you shaking, we're a dynasty
In the making, we're the royalty
Now we're breaking down the enemy
Move over for the soldiers ♫
The spotlights return to the stage, illuminating the Backbreaker Fight Club. Standing on the stage are Jacob Koenig, Tyler Kline, Jay Sasaki, and Tommy Stark. Koenig stands in the middle of the stage and he looks out at the crowd, who respond positively to his presence. The lights come back to normal. Unlike last week, the entire group walks down the ramp together with Koenig leading the charge. Once they make it to the ring, he receives words of encouragement from his friends before they go take seats by Michael Cade, Strader, Gates, and Crawford.
Jason Cade: Look at ‘em over there! They’re all on Losers’ Row! HAHAHAHAAAA!!!!
Koenig walks up the steps and wipes his boots on the apron before entering between the ropes. He throws his arms in the air and the fans pop for this man. His badass music dies down. Moments later, the opening beat of “Song #2” by Blur begins to play throughout the Performance Center.
Kallan Jaxson walks out from behind the entrance curtain and stops midway down the ramp leading to ringside. He places both hands upon his hips, pausing momentarily before raising one hand, holding it just above his eyes as if blocking out the light to see the audience better. He slowly begins to walk back down the entrance ramp. Once he's ringside, he walks completely around the ring, stopping by the Michael Cade and the tournament participants.
Jason Cade: He’s showing those looooooosers what a real fighter looks like!
Once he makes his way to the entrance ramp side of the ring, he hops up, landing feet first onto the ring apron as he grasp the top rope. It's a bit of a flashy move meant to show his athleticism before ducking between the ropes to enter the ring.
Nolan Steele: It’s a bit of a flashy move by Kallan Jaxson.
Jason Cade: It’s meant to show his athleticism.
Nolan Steele: Oh?
With both competitors now in the ring…
Jay Voice: Introducing first… fighting out of La Crosse, Wisconsin… he weighs in at one hundred and ninety-five pounds… JACOB KOENIG!
The fans cheer and Koenig remains focused on Jaxson.
Jay Voice: And his opponent… fighting out of the House of Affliction… he weighs in at two hundred and thirty-seven pounds… KALLAN JAXSON!
The fans give a mixed reaction and Jaxson remains focused on Koenig.
Jason Cade: This match is already over.
Nolan Steele: Oh?
Jason Cade: Just look at these two. Kallan Jaxson is taller… bigger. and he’s critically acclaimed!
Nolan Steele: Size isn’t everything, Jason. I’m sure your wife would agree.
Jason Cade: What’s that s’posed to mean?!
The opening bell tolls and the two combatants charge at one another. Jaxson throws a clothesline and Koenig ducks it. Koenig hits the ropes. One the way back, Jaxson goes for a--
Jason Cade: SPEAR!
Nolan Steele: OH NO! KOENIG CRACKS HIM WITH A KNEE!
Indeed. The knee catches Jaxson hard and he goes down to the mat. Koenig backs up and holds his knee, feeling the impact from it as Jaxson pushes up to his feet. Koenig reaches down and straightens him up, then cracks him with some snug chops, brother. Jaxson absorbs enough of them before he is able to push Koenig back. Jaxson charges right into a--
Jason Cade: DROPKICK!
Nolan Steele: Impressive high dropkick from Jacob Koenig!
Jason Cade: There’s the cover!
Nolan Steele: Not even a one count?!
Jason Cade: Because Koenig is a chump! That’s why!
Koenig is quick to bring Jaxson back up. He lays in a few forearms before going for a clothesline, but Jaxson catches his arm and spins underneath, taking Koenig down with a swinging neckbreaker. With Koenig down, Jaxson mounts him and lays down some heavy hammerfists. Koenig attempts to block them, but they’re coming down too strong. The official urges Jaxson to ease up. Jaxson backs up to his knees next to Koenig, then covers him.
Nolan Steele: Not even a one count?!
Jason Cade: That referee is clearly on the Backbreaker Fight Club payroll!
Nolan Steele: You have no proof of that.
Jason Cade: I don’t need proof. Ever.
Jaxson transitions to a front face lock and then drags Koenig up off of the mat. He hooks him for a suplex and pauses, staring daggers out at Koenig’s friends at ringside. The moment of hesitation allows Koenig to rolls him up with a small package.
Jason Cade: Heck of a small package!
Nolan Steele: That’s what your wife said!
Jason Cade: Seriously, man! You’ve got to stop talking to my wife!
Both combatants get to their feet and throws a snug punch, catching Koenig on the jaw. He gets cocky and goes for another, but Koenig blocks it and delivers a punch of his own. He delivers a few more chops to Jaxson’s chest before pumping his fists. The crowd is behind him and he goes for a discus clothesline… but Jaxson throws up a big boot, catching Koenig’s arm. Jaxson then grabs his arm and whips him toward the ropes. On the way back, Koenig leaps in the air and goes for a crossbody… but Jaxson catches him in mid air and responds with a fallaway slam.
Nolan Steele: Impressive strength from Kallan Jaxson!
Jason Cade: CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED STRENGTH FROM KALLAN JAXSON!!!
Jaxson makes the cover, hooking Koenig’s leg.
Jason Cade: UNBELIEVABLE!
Jaxson gets to his feet and he yells at the referee to count faster. He drags Koenig up off of the mat and stands behind him, then pulls him in for a scorpion death drop when--
Jason Cade: KOENIG WITH A PELE KICK!
Nolan Steele: UNBELIEVABLE!
Indeed. Jaxson gets rocked back to the ropes and Koenig gets to his feet. Without hesitation, Koenig charges and clotheslines Jaxson over the top rope… and he himself goes along for the ride. Both men crash hard on the barely padded mat on the floor… and the fans go cuckoo bananas. The camera looks to the two men lying on the floor in pain, and then pans up to the group of OCW stars seated at ringside. Michael Cade shows concern while Timothy Gates laughs at them. The rest of BFC also looks worried for their teammate.
Jason Cade: There’s nothing they can do to save their man from Kallan Jaxson!
Koenig is the first to move and he crawls to the guardrail. He pulls himself up, only to come face-to-face with Timothy Gates, the man he defeated in the semi-final round of the tournament. Gates sarcastically claps for him, then flips him off. Koenig doesn’t let it phase him and he turns around, noticing Jaxson has pushed himself up to his knees. Koenig looks back and gives a nod to his friends, and then swings a kick toward Jaxson… but he ducks it and then rams Koenig back-first into the guardrail.
Jason Cade: Why isn’t the referee counting them out?!
Nolan Steele: You really want to see this match end in a no-contest?
Jason Cade: No. I want the referee to award Kallan Jaxson with the title!
Nolan Steele: Huh?
Jaxson grabs Koenig by the back of the neck and he runs him into the ring steps. Koenig crashes shoulder first into the steps. The fans boo Jaxson, and he rolls Koenig into the ring. He looks back at the OCW roster and motions that a title will soon be around his waist, then enters the ring to finish the job. Koenig is pulling himself up in the corner and Jaxson charges in, connecting with a forearm smash. He grabs Koenig’s head and he pauses, looking out at the masses, then runs for a bulldog… but Koenig reacts quickly by locking in a half nelson… and transitioning to a quick--
Nolan Steele: BACKBREAKER!
Jaxson was caught right in the small of his back and he falls to the mat in pain. Koenig doesn’t have enough in him to capitalize just yet, while also holding onto his knee.
Jason Cade: Aww look! The Backbreaker guy hurt his leg doing a Backbreaker! WEAK!
Nolan Steele: That could be… but look at the damage done to Kallan Jaxson!
Jaxson is now by the corner as the referee checks him. He screams out that he can’t feel his legs, and the referee is calls for medical attention.
Jason Cade: WHAT?!
Koenig gets to his feet and he looks on as medical staff comes down the ramp. They go to the side of the ring and talk to the referee. Koenig approaches Jaxson, showing concern for his adversary. He gets close enough until Jaxson kicks straight up… catching Koenig in the nether-region.
Nolan Steele: HE WAS PLAYING POSSUM!
Jason Cade: The phrase is “playing opossum” actually.
The fans boo as Jaxson gets to his feet like. He laughs as Koenig is doubled over in pain. The referee turns around, and he is shocked to see Jaxson on his feet. Jaxson shrugs his shoulders and then pulls Koenig in from behind, then plants him with a reverse dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane.
Nolan Steele: PUCK-U! PUCK-U! PUCK-U!
Jason Cade: THAT’S GOT TO BE IT!
After planting Koenig in the center of the ring with his finishing maneuver, Jaxson gets to his feet and he motions again that a title will soon be around his waist. He calmly drops down and covers Koenig.
Jason Cade: HEY! LOOK!!
Nolan Steele: WHAT IS TOMMY STARK DOING?!
Out of the direct sight of the referee, Stark has made his way to the ring and he pulls Koenig’s foot onto the bottom rope. He then waves his arms to notify the referee, who stops his count.
Jason Cade: DISQUALIFY HIM, REF!!!
Jaxson gets to his knees and he sees what Stark has done. He yells at the ref, who stands by the decision to stop counting, since Koenig’s foot was on the rope.
Jason Cade: THAT’S BULLSHIT, MAN!
Jaxson gets to his feet and he just… fucking… snaps. He stomps the shit out of Koenig, while watching Stark at ringside. Stark begs him to stop. Jaxson shakes his head and then he heads to the ropes, then leaves the ring between the ropes. Stark backs up quickly and Jaxson stops, then flings the ring apron up. He reaches underneath and pulls out a hockey stick.
Nolan Steele: WHAT THE HELL?!
Jason Cade: He’s got a hockey mask on. Now he’s got a hockey stick. It’s not that hard to figure out.
Jaxson threatens Stark with the hockey stick before sliding back into the ring. The referee warns him not to use the weapon, but he shoves the ref out of the way… just in time for--
Nolan Steele: KOENIG OUTTA NOWHERE WITH A SICK KICK!
Indeed. His signature single leg running dropkick struck Jaxson and the hockey stick goes flying. The fans pop for Koenig, as he gets back to his feet. He walks to the corner and picks up the hockey stick.
Jason Cade: DISQUALIFY HIM, REF!
Nolan Steele: Oh?
Koenig holds the stick with both hands and then cracks it in half over his thigh.
Jason Cade: I have it on good authority that Kallan Jaxson’s hockey stick was autographed by legendary hockeyman Bill Mikkelson!
Nolan Steele: Hockey… man?
Jason Cade: Uhh yeah. Hockeyman. It’s a word. Ask Jeeves it sometime.
Koenig goes to Jaxson’s legs and he pulls his feet up. As he starts to set up for an elevated boston crab, Jaxson uses his leg strength to twist and flip Koenig onto the mat. He pushes up and gets to his feet, as Koenig does the same. Koenig walks right into a step-up enziguri from Jaxson and he hits the mat. Jaxson covers him in the center of the ring.
Jaxson quickly transitions into a front face lock and he drags Koenig up off of the mat. The fans roar in antipication of something cool as fuck. In an instant, Koenig scoops Jaxson up on his shoulders in a fireman’s carry and then delivers a double knee gutbuster. As Jaxson bounces off, Koenig goes up to his feet and he grabs Jaxson’s legs… then transitions into an elevated boston crab… while kneeling on Jaxson’s back.
Nolan Steele: KOENIG CRAB! COULD THIS BE IT?!
Jason Cade: PLEASE DON’T TAP!!!
The fans go apeshit as Jaxson screams out in agony. He flails his arms, trying to reach for the ropes… but he is too far away. Realizing he has to go further to get the job done, Koenig releases the hold and pulls Jaxson up off of the mat. Before he can go anywhere, Jaxson pushes him away. Jaxson throws a wild punch that connects with Koenig, who responds appropriately with a punch of his own. The two go back and forth while the fans respond to each punch.
On and on they go until they are visibly worn out… and leaning up against one another. Jaxson goes to throw a double axe handle, and Koenig kicks him in the gut… then pulls him up and sets up for a suplex. In one swift motion, Koenig lifts him up and then drops him into a double knee backbreaker.
Nolan Steele: VERTIBREAKERRR!!!!
Koenig floats over and covers Jaxson, desperately hooking his legs.
The final bell tolls and “For The Glory” starts to play.
Jay Voice: The winner of this match… and… NEEEWWWW… Omega Championship Wrestling WORLD CHAMPION…
The fans go fucking wild. The referee brings the championship belt into the ring.
Jay Voice: JAAAAAACOB… KOENIIIIIIIIG!!
We see a glimpse in the background of Michael Cade joining the fans in a standing ovation, while the rest of Backbreaker Fight Club enter the ring to celebrate with their teammate. Koenig clutches the belt as Sasaki and Kline lift him up on their shoulders.
Nolan Steele: Jacob Koenig made it through Robby Bigg Dick… Timothy Gates… and now Kallan Jaxson to make it to the mountaintop!
Jason Cade: I just… can’t believe this…
Nolan Steele: You better believe it, bub! We’re watching history in the making!
They set Koenig back onto the mat and Stark fastens the championship around his waist.
Nolan Steele: What does the future hold for Omega Championship Wrestling now that Jacob Koenig is World Champion? Only time will tell! That's the end of Season 1 of OCW on Paramount+! Goodnight, everybody!!
The standing ovation continues as the show goes off the air.
