Character Name:
Chase Jackson
Nickname:
CJ2.0
Hometown:
Chicago, Illinois
Height:
6'3
Weight:
225 (ripped)
Alignment: (Face/Tweener/Heel)
Face
In-Ring Style:
Suplex machine mixed with some brawling. Hit's the spear always.
Bio:
Chase is now 24 years old, was trained by Chris Avery at Avery Wrestling School and was in UCI before quietly walking away from Wrestling because he didn't agree with his best friend and ex-manager Seth Colt. Seth Colt became an intern with Torture and that made Chase very upset. After almost a year, Seth Lerch of WCF was contacted by Chase and wanted to make an impression in WCF. That impression was made when at WCF's WAR during Lerch vs Torture, Jackson interfered on Lerch's behalf and speared Torture through a table and sent his old ass to the hospital for the last 7 months. Lerch paid Chase a lot of money, so much in fact that Chase didn't have to appear in WCF ever again. Chase has now signed a contract with Action Wrestling, and though he knows Torture is somehow involved in AW, Chase doesn't give a shit and is looking to make another impact.
in 2019: After being turned on by his friends from The Syndicate Seth Colt for a second time in his career, he's out on his own. Hes now met his girlfriend Lyn who he knew from Junior High School and they're so in love. Now they're teaching the roster and the crowd at home how to be in love and find true love.
in 2020: Lyn was tired of Chase always losing and their love was affected because Chase was mentally exhausted from being a loser. He was down in the dumps after she broke up with him and stopped talking to him.
2020/Following: Chase found direction in Kyle Kemp when Kemp started The Following. Chase was the loyal right hand man who sacrificed day and night 24/7 for Kemp. Kemp and the Following was one of the most successful stables in AW history. Kemp turned on Chase and the rest of the Following in July of 2021 ending it completely.
Current: Chase 2.0 is refreshed, repackaging himself and wants to prove he's one of the AW Originals who can still go and get back to his Championship roots!
Late in the fall of 2021, Torture asked Chase to defend the TV title unofficially for someone who vacated the belt. Jackson was unsuccessful but was grateful for the opportunity. Jackson hasn't been booked much for the rest of 2021, but has found smaller rivalries with Joey Scala, Kancer, and other fodder.
It's not exactly public, but implied that Kemp has tried to keep in touch with Jackson, as if Kemp always had some manipulative hold on Jackson, but Chase has seemed to cut ties completely. He's leaving Following behind.
Jackson isn't fond of Dandy, but will always support CJ Phoenix as an ally.
Attire:
Jackson wears the Dolph Ziggler type trunks that are light-sky-blue. He has black knee pads with black wrestling boots. He wears white tape around each of his four fingers and has wrist tape too. In his entrance he wears a white jacket with a hood (but he never wears the hood) and the jacket says "CHASE JACKSON" across the back. He takes the jacket off before every match.
Theme song:
Here To Show The World
Pic Base:
Ryan Nemeth
Entrance:
The opening riffs of HERE TO SHOW THE WORLD hits and Chase comes hopping out on one foot to some cheers. He lands on the stage and spins around and puts his arms out wide letting the cheers soak in from the sold out arena!
Ethan Miller: Making his way to the ring, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 225 pounds, he is.. CHASEEEE JACKSONNN!!
Chase smiles as his name is called and he walks down the ramp slapping some skin with some of the fans in the crowd. He stops at the bottom of the ramp and raises his arms getting everyone hype. He jumps onto the apron and walks around the ring post to the hardcam side and then bounces his back off the ropes twice while facing the crowd and raises his arms once more! The crowd pops again as Chase gets into the ring and stretches his legs and taps his knees and is ready for the match in his corner. The music fades.
Favorite moves:
Crossbody from the top rope.
A splash from the top rope.
Tbone suplex.
Belly to belly suplex.
German suplex.
Snap suplex.
A suplex.
Signature move(s):
Cupids Arrow
It's the brogue kick. Chase can hit this anywhere, anytime, anything.
Finisher(s):
L-Shot (Used to be Love Shot)
Spear. Gore. Hits it anytime, anywhere.
Jackson Driver
Grab the opponent like a fisherman suplex. When Jackson lifts them up, he then shifts them to a sit out modified Michinoku driver. Most opponents land stiff on the back of their head/neck. From there, Jackson will keep the leg pinned for the cover. In lengthier matches, Jackson may be too tired to keep the hold for the pin fall. Whichever you prefer.
