Lissie Hope vs Bonnie Blue
Adeline Floyd: Ladies and gentlemen, the following is an Evolution Special Attraction! The slow beat of Rihanna’s “Same Ol’ Mistakes” fills the air to a massive pop from the Detroit crowd.
Abruptly, the music cuts off. The ActionTron fills with static. A hush of anticipation falls over the crowd -- a silence, broken without warning:
As the iconic sound of Doja Cat’s “Boss Bitch” pours from the speakers, fountains of pyro erupt all along the stage, sending up streams of white sparks. Bonnie Blue saunters onto the stage, dressed in booty shorts, fishnets, and a low cut halter top, all radiant white, with glowing neon blue shutter shades. She struts from one end of the stage to the other, each step perfectly synchronized to the music, stopping to pose here and there to a renewed cheer from the audience.
Adeline Floyd: Introducing first, standing 5’8” and weighing 132 pounds… making her long awaited return to Action Wrestling… she is a two-time WCF World Champion… a UCI Hall of Famer… she is “The Serpentine”... BONNIE BLUE!!!Clearly enjoying the attention, the Time Witch makes her way down the aisle, trading fist bumps and taking selfies with fans; until, at last, she arrives at ringside.
The #DeepBlueSea takes her time, mounting the steps with lithe, catlike grace. Slipping through the ropes, she crosses the ring and climbs up the turnbuckle, standing in a pose of supreme confidence while cameras flash all around her. Overhead, a series of rockets explode in quick succession, filling the sky with blue and white. She hops back down as the music fades away.
Chris Avery: Whoa! What an explosive entrance for the Daughter of Time! We have waited a long time to see her back in an Action Wrestling ring, and she looks pumped!Billy: This is a match between two generational talents, a match we never thought we’d ever have the pleasure of witnessing, Chris!Chris Avery: But Evolution brings out the stars! The legends!Billy: We love Bonnie Blue, and we love seeing her live and in action! Chris Avery: And she’s going to go one-on-one with a legend in her own right, someone who’s looked up to Bonnie her entire career! This a bit of a changing guard, Billy!Adeline Floyd: DETROIT! PLEASE GIVE A WARM WELCOME…The opening to “Lucky You” starts playing over the speakers, and the fans rise to their feet.
Adeline Floyd: ...TO THE SLIM SHADY HIMSELF…
Chris Avery: Holy crap!Adeline Floyd: EMINEM!
I done said a lotta things in my day, I admit it
This is payback in a way, I regret it that I did it
Eminem appears on-stage and the fans go absolutely apeshit as he goes straight into his verse on his 2018 hit, “Lucky You”. He’s grooving with the music, coming about halfway down the stage.
I done won a couple Grammys, but I sold my soul to get 'em
Wasn't in it for the trophies, just the fuckin' recognition, fuck’s the difference?
He slaps the hands of some front row fans.
Man I used to risk it all, now I got too much to lose
I been eatin' long enough, man my stomach should be full
I just ate, lick the plate, my buffet, lucky me, FUCK YOU THINK...”
There’s a hard cut of the music as Eminem turns to the top of the stage.
Eminem: GIVE IT UP FOR LISSIE MOTHERFUCKIN’ HOPE!
Pyro explodes off the corners of the ramp as “HOPE” flashes on the screen! The fans respond accordingly; mostly boos, but they hush down so they can just enjoy the show. Eminem’s verse kicks back in as Lissie Hope appears at the top of the stage, donned in a black leather brassiere crossed around her neck, black boyshorts and purple fishnets, and black leather boots. Around her shoulders is the custom-designed diamond studded hero’s cape, a gift from Harvey Marx.
And actually coming from humble beginnings
I'm somewhat uncomfortable winning
I wish I could say "What a wonderful feeling!"
We're on the upswing like we're punchin' the ceiling
Eminem is back up on top of the stage and exchanges a fist-bump with Lissie Hope before she starts descending down the ramp. Bonnie watches the performance from the ring as Lissie marvels at 80,000 people on their feet. Of course, they’re mostly responding to their hometown hero, but Lissie takes a second to relish in it, stopping in the middle of the ramp and mouthing the word “wow”.
And fuck it, I'm goin' for the jugular
Shit is a circus, you clowns that are comin' up
Don't give an ounce of a motherfuck
About the ones that were here before you, way back...
Lissie walks slowly around the ring, never really making eye contact with Bonnie Blue who is following her with her eyes. Lissie pulls up on the stairs, climbing one slowly at a time. Eminem is still going off at the top of the stage.
'Cause even if I gotta end up eatin' a pill again
Even ketamine or methamphetamine
With the mini-thin, it better be at least 70 to 300 milligram
And I might as well 'cause I'ma end up bein' a villain again
She finally enters the ring, standing on opposite corners from her opponent.
You could never say to me I'm not a fuckin' record breaker
I sound like a broken record every time I break a record
Nobody could ever take away the legacy I made, I never cater
Adeline Floyd and the referee nervously stand in between the two of them as they continue to watch each other’s movements, waiting for Eminem to finish his performance.
So y'all gotta move (yeah), y'all gotta move (yeah), y'all gotta move
Give me some room, give me some room, give me the juice
The crowd EXPLODES with applause as Eminem finishes his final bar and waves to them from the stage. But the story is inside the center of the ring, as the crowd hushes, the tension growing thick, as Lissie Hope and Bonnie Blue start approaching each other slowly, meeting in the middle of the ring. Adeline Floyd finishes her introduction.
Adeline Floyd: And her opponent… standing 5’5” and weighing 135 pounds… “THE BLACKHEART”... LISSIE HOPE!Floyd quickly exits the ring, definitely not wanting to be in there any longer than she needed to be. The crowd support is growing now, definitely excited to be witnessing this transcendent match between two of the best female wrestlers to ever step in an Action Wrestling ring.
Chris Avery: The energy in here is electric, Billy! Billy: LISSIE HOPE! BONNIE BLUE! THE SPECIAL ATTRACTION!Chris Avery: And it looks like we’re just about ready to get started! The bell rings and the crowd is shaking the walls of the arena. Lissie and Bonnie are standing face to face, Lissie’s neck craning as Bonnie is a few inches taller. Lissie offers her hand for a shake, and Bonnie eyes her suspiciously, but she accepts. The two tie-up, Lissie a little stronger in her upper body pushes Bonnie back towards a corner. Bonnie uses her leverage to hip check Lissie in instead, following it up with a knee to the side. An overhand right hand, followed by another, before Bonnie rears back and goes for a short-arm lariat. Lissie ducks under and flips Bonnie over with a fireman’s carry, transitioning into a rear headlock. Once again, Bonnie’s height is an asset as she climbs to her knees, then her feet, before driving an elbow into Lissie’s gut to break the hold. Bonnie bounces off the ropes and comes flying in with a crossbody, landing into a pinning position, but Lissie rolls out of it and into a pin of her own!
1…
2…
And a quick kick out!
Lissie lands a forearm from top position before dropping a boot on Bonnie’s chest. She backs up a step, allowing Bonnie a second to pull herself back up. Then she runs foreward, looking for an elbow, but Bonnie dips her shoulder and sends Lissie up and over the ropes onto the apron! Lissie lands on her feet though. She delivers an elbow strike, and then climbs up on the rope from the outside. She jumps off, connecting with a corkscrew headscissors! Bonnie rolls back to her feet quickly, and Lissie drops the charging Bonnie with a drop toe hold, before pouncing on her back and gunning for another rear naked choke! Bonnie scrambles, making it towards the ropes, forcing her to break the submission attempt!
Chris Avery: Lissie looks like she’s trying to soften up Bonnie’s neck tonight and choke her out!Billy: Lights out, Chris! She said it!
Bonnie climbs back to her feet, stretching out her neck. Lissie smiles and the two square up again. This time, Bonnie looks a little less interested in feeling her out, and drives a boot to Lissie’s gut, following it up with an uppercut to Lissie’s throat. She wrenches in a facelock before dropping Lissie with a cutter, and still maintaining control of Lissie’s wrist, she transitions into a stepover armlock clutch! But before Bonnie can get it locked all the way in, Lissie spins out of it, but Bonnie’s submission expertise is unrivaled. Still controlling the wrist, she drops back into a fujiwara armbar… but once again, Lissie circles the mat and spins out of it. THIS time, however, Lissie is in a terrible position, and Bonnie has her locked Zero Hour octopus stretch!
Chris Avery: Oh wow! Lissie pulled out of so many of those submission attempts, clearly because she has always studied Bonnie’s game, but Bonnie has her in a bad spot!Billy: You can see her muscles tensing up, and the shrieks coming from her gut, Chris!Chris Avery: Can this be it already!?Lissie’s fighting out of it, trying to find an opening, and finally she breaks free! Lissie contorts her body, trying to loosen up and recover, and she’s flattened with a running knee lift! Bonnie scales the turnbuckle, turning around to deliver a moonsault… but Lissie jumps to her feet and pushes Bonnie off the top rope all the way to the outside, hitting her neck on the barricade! Lissie’s expression changes as she sees Bonnie clinging to the barricade, and she bounces off the ropes, flying through the middle with a tope suicida!
...but NO!
...Bonnie moves out of the way and Lissie crashes face first into the barricade!
Billy: OH MY WOW! LISSIE IS GETTING RECKLESS NOW, AND BONNIE SAW IT COMING A MILE AWAY!Chris Avery: This is getting painful to watch, Billy!Bonnie sees Lissie lying lifeless on the mat and it takes her a second to realize she has the upper hand now. The crowd is cheering like crazy as Bonnie pulls Lissie up, smacking her face on the ring apron. She drives a chop across Lissie’s chest, and then in a muay thai clinch, connects with a high knee to Lissie’s chin. A right hand sends Lissie back to the announce table, and Bonnie hits Lissie’s face off the corner of the wood! The referee has finally began counting them out, but obviously wants to give them the freedom to let out some of their hostility. Lissie crawls over the table to safety, moving Chris and Billy out of the way. Bonnie circles around giving chase. She catches up to Lissie and after an elbow to the back of the neck, grabs her hand to whip her into the apron…
...COUNTER!
...LISSIE TURNS HER HIPS AND SENDS BONNIE CRASHING INTO THE STEPS HERSELF!
HER KNEES CLIP THE STEEL AND SHE FLIPS OVER THE TOP!
Chris Avery: That impact, Billy! And Bonnie is feeling it!Bonnie staggers to her feet, pulling herself up with the ring apron. Lissie runs, hopping off the dislodged stairs, and hits a flying SPEAR on Bonnie on the outside! The referee holds his hands up on his forehead, unwilling to continue counting from 4! Bonnie is doubled over in the fetal position, coughing her lungs out. Lissie is nearing exhaustion, pulling herself up slowly with the ring apron.
Chris Avery: Bonnie is seeing stars now, and Lissie is doing all she can to stay alive here! That spear took just as much out of her as it did Bonnie!Billy: These two are showing just how familiar they are with each other and it’s beautiful to watch! Lissie drags Bonnie to her feet, gives her an uppercut and slides her into the ring. Lissie follows in after her, positioning herself in the corner to wait for Bonnie to rise. Lissie sprints forward, looking for another spear into the corner, but Bonnie sidesteps it and Lissie goes facefirst into the turnbuckle! Lissie backpedals right into a belly to back!
Chris Avery: She’s going for the Weeping Angel!Billy: OH MY GOD!Bonnie tries to finish it off, but Lissie hangs on to the top rope! A back elbow to break free! And another! But as Bonnie rolls out to avoid one, she still maintains the belly to back position! She has her dead to rights!
She lifts her through it!
Chris Avery: SHE’S GOT IT!...COUNTER!
Billy: NO! LISSIE POWERS OUT OF IT!Lissie rolls through it and ends up in the dominating position, connecting with a spinebuster of her own! Bonnie rolls away, coughing again, as Lissie climbs to her knees. She watches as Bonnie pulls herself up! She runs for yet another spear but Bonnie sidesteps once again… this time putting up her boot and knocking Lissie’s face off with a roundhouse punt! Lissie crumbles to the mat as Bonnie hooks the leg!
1…
2…
Chris Avery: AND…--SHOULDER UP!
Billy: SO DAMN CLOSE!Bonnie kicks Lissie on the mat and centers her correctly, and then she starts making the slow climb to the top rope! Step by step, she ascends the ropes, watching as Lissie lies in the prone position! She signals for it, leaping through the air!
CORKSCREW…
SENTON…
Chris Avery: THE SONIC SCREWDRIVER!KNEES UP!
Billy: OH MY GOD!Chris Avery: HER BACK’S BROKEN! IT HAS TO BE! SHE LANDED SQUARE ON LISSIE’S KNEES!Bonnie rolls in agony, grabbing at her lower back. Lissie’s facial expression gets sinister, knowing she’s going to have to try to finish this one because Bonnie has already nearly several of her big-time specialty moves. After driving the sharp point of her elbow into Bonnie’s spine, Lissie kicks Bonnie in the stomach and pulls her head in between her legs! She hooks one elbow… and then she hooks the other!
Chris Avery: This is it! The Crown of Thorns!Billy: If she plants this one it’s night night! Nobody kicks out of this! The fans are starting to get restless as Lissie has the arms hooked, but then… they EXPLODE when Lissie lets her arms fall, hanging loose! Lissie pushes Bonnie’s face up to look Bonnie in the eyes! She then gives Bonnie a kiss on the cheek!
Chris Avery: WHAT IN GOD’S NAME!Lissie kicks Bonnie in the stomach again and pulls her head back in, more forcefully now! But instead of hooking Bonnie’s arms, she wrenches her up into a powerbomb!
Chris Avery: WICKED POWER! SHE HAS BONNIE UP!
Billy: AND… DOWN!Bonnie’s back slams into the canvas and Lissie keeps the position, bridging for the pinfall afterwards!
1…
Chris Avery: Wait a minute…2…
Lissie’s now kicking her legs!
She’s in distress!
She rolls over to the side…
Billy: OH MY NO WAY OH YESSSSSS!Bonnie’s legs are in a figure four, and they’re tight around Lissie’s neck like a serpent! She’s pulling down on her neck, and she has her in the triangle choke!!!
Chris Avery: TIMESTOPPER! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!Lissie is flailing around as Bonnie has it wrenched in, and Lissie is fading!
She’s fading!
And fading!
Chris Avery: LISSIE’S LIGHTS ARE--ROPE BREAK!
Billy: JESUS ALMIGHTY!Bonnie gets to her feet and has had enough and she pulls Lissie up and signals for a high impact move by picking up Lissie on her shoulders but Lissie shoves out of it and shoves Bonnie into the corner! Bonnie shoots back and goes for a low chop but Lissie jumps but lands on her feet as Bonnie misses! Lissie is in LA-LA-LAND as she turns around and Bonnie goes for a clothesline this time but Lissie throws her into the turnbuckles stomach first and Bonnie stumbles back and Lissie hits a SPINEBUSTER!!
Billy: DOWN GOES BONNIE!!Lissie is gasping for air still, she's on dream streak and Bonnie is down..
Bonnie comes to and bends forward and tries to get up but Lissie is up and grabs the head of Bonnie and grabs her arms
Billy: THERE IT IS!!CROWN OF THORNS!!Lissie falls on her back as Bonnie smashes into the canvas!!
Lissie sits up and rolls Bonnie over!!

Billy: OH MY GOD!! BONNIE GOT A SHOULDER UP!!Chris Avery: SHE KICKED OUT!!Lissie sits up eyes wide open and is looking at the ref!! Bonnie rolls to her side and has her arm in the air and the crowd is cheering and marking out for Bonnie!!
Billy: THE HEART OF A CHAMPION!!Bonnie rolls to her stomach and is trying to lift her head up!
Lissie stands up and is yelling at Bonnie to stay down! "JUST STAY DOWN!!"
Bonnie puts the palms of her hands on the canvas and pushes her self up!
Lissie again just yelling for her to STAY THE HELL DOWN!!
The crowd POPS and Lissie comes over and picks up Bonnie and sets her right back up into the pedigree again! Lissie grabs the arms but the crowd POPS again as Bonnie breaks free!! She flips Lissie back and Lissie crashes onto the canvas!!
Lissie stands up and Bonnie hits a 360 discus lariat WHILE SCREAMING!! LISSIE BACKFLIPS INTO THE AIR AND CRASHES ONTO THE CANVAS!!

She sits up and can't believe it as she dips her head in emotion. The ref helps her raise her arm as she gets to her feet and the crowd cheers again!
Billy: LISSIE HOPE BROUGHT THE FIRE BUT IT WASN'T ENOUGH FOR BONNIE BLUE!!Chris Avery: SOMETIMES YA GET WHAT YOU ASK FOR!Bonnie stumbles up leans against the ropes and the crowd is just standing and cheering, no one is letting up!!
Bonnie looks over at Lissie sitting in the corner with her head down in shame. The music fades as Bonnie walks over to her..
The crowd BUZZING.. Bonnie reaches down with an empty hand. The crowd pops as Lissie looks up.
Billy: SHES JUST SHOWING RESPECT!!Chris Avery: I DONT THINK LISSIE CARES!!Lissie puts her hand in Bonnies and Bonnie lifts Lissie to her feet! The crowd pops as Bonnie nods and brushes the hair out of Lissies face. Lissie just ducks through the ropes and out of the ring.
Billy: Bonnie might have been looking in the mirror on that one! These are two of the greatest females in pro wrestling!Chris Avery: Experience and maturity won out tonight!Bonnie's music hits and she stands in the ring alone as the crowd is popping.
Billy: Bonnie with a HUGE win here! And ya know the rumors.. this might have been everything she had!Chris Avery: Well if it was.. it was a delight! We loved having Bonnie Blue here in Action Wrestling!Bonnie exits the ring and slaps highfives with some fans before she looks up the ramp. Just then the crowd pops again as Gravedigger and Torture come out through the curtain and are standing with a bouquet of flowers on top of the stage. Bonnie gets a bit emotional as Pasternak, Jaice, Cormack, and a few producers are behind Torture and Gravedigger applauding and cheering Bonnie.
She walks up the ramp and Torture embraces Bonnie.
Billy: Ya know they go back! Johnny Reb was Torture's greatest rival in WCF over a decade ago!Chris Avery: Tonight, Bonnie gets her flowers!Bonnie is embraced by Gravedigger as Torture starts hyping up his hands getting the crowd as loud as they can. Bonnie has both boquet of flowers and she wipes her eyes and waves to the sold out stadium.
Torture comes over and is mouthing some words to Bonnie and she can't believe what she's saying. Gravedigger jumps up and down and is excited about what Torture just said to her.
Billy: Did he?! DID HE JUST SAY..Chris Avery: I THINK HE JUST INVITED HER TO THE HALL OF FAME NEXT YEAR?!The crowd is cheering as Bonnie is embraced by Torture one more time.
Billy: HE SAID HE WANTED TO PUT BONNIE IN THE HALL OF FAME NEXT YEAR! HOLY SHIT!!Chris Avery: WHAT A NIGHT!Bonnie stands on top of the ramp as everyone moves back to give her one last moment in the spotlight.
Bonnie waves to the fans and blows kisses. The crowd begins to chant
