“Well well well…if it isn’t the psycho bitch who couldn’t finish the job…” Hideyo says.
She was just passing by Kitsumi on the way into the school.
The three of them surround her. Hideyo was always the rudest one. With her black hair and gothic make-up, a dumber person would mistake her for silent and moody.
What they don’t realize is that her darkness is much more villainous than it is for the sake of beauty.
On the right stands Minami. She has her arms crossed and her right eyebrow raised, as if daring Kitsumi to respond.
She does not.
On her left is Chinami. The smile across her face is not unlike Kitsumi's own. While Kitsumi uses her smiles to disarm people and hide her own nature, Chinami uses them to take advantage of people and get them to do what she wants.
So while Kitsumi
So who’s really the evil one here?
Her thoughts are interrupted when Hideyo shoves her shoulder back.
“I’m talkin to you bitch. Fuckin answer me. What makes you think you can just show back up here like nothin happened?” she asks.
Kitsumi doesn’t answer.
She smiles.
Hideyo growls and readies her fist.
Before she can let it throw, it is actually Minami who grabs it.
“Now now Hideyo. There are important people watching,” she says.
Hideyo growls again. She looks around and notices a few lingering eyes, but only four that are of any importance to the situation.
She throws her fist free of Minami’s grip.
“Yeah yeah. Watch your fuckin back psycho. You won’t always have people here to keep us in line,” Hideyo says.
Hideyo steps away. Minami keeps her eyes on Kitsumi’s for a bit, blatantly ignoring how the latter’s smile widens—
—before turning around and following her friend.
That just leaves Chinami, who steps in to take her friend’s place.
The two match eyes, with a proverbial fire beginning to roar in Kitsumi’s belly.
Chinami breaks the tie.
The right of her lips rises a bit more as—it’s Aisuru!
How’s her hair? Oh it’s fine. Her skirt? Straight and fluffed. Her bow? Perfectly placed.
Aisuru steps up in between them and waves at Kitsumi as her heart quickens its pace tenfold.
Kitsumi’s smile becomes much more genuine as the love of her live turns to face Chinami.
“Hey Chinami. Is everything okay?” Aisuru says.
Kitsumi senses the threat in His voice, hidden masterfully by His ability to act like nothing is wrong.
“Of course Aisuru,” Chinami says.
She places a hand on His shoulder and Kitsumi’s head perks up.
“Absolutely fine,” Chinami says, never removing her eyes from her rival.
Eventually, Chinami pats the shoulder a few times and gives it a good squeeze once before turning back to join her
Kitsumi watches her leaves for a few more seconds before bracing her heart and turning towards Him.
Her smile seems to somehow grow wider.
“Can I walk you to class Kitsumi? I wanted to see how you were doing after that loss last week,” he says.
Always so concerned. Interested in others. Wanting to make things better. How could this not be the
The two lock arms and make their way into the school.

Across the schoolyard, Edelia stands in front of Mr. Koyama and a tall woman in a tight uniform, opting for the male pants versus the standard skirt for woman.
“Are you sure this is smart?” the woman asks.
“I’ve gotta agree with Miss Manako,” Mr. Koyama says.
Edelia snorts.
“Shocker,” she mutters.
After a grumble, Koyama continues.
“I know you managed to convince Don and the schoolboard to let her back in, but with all five of them in one building, things will explode soon,” Mr. Koyama says.
“Were you taught to question authority?” Edelia asks.
Miss Manako narrows her eyes and glances at the blue hair of Edelia.
“When their decisions are worth questioning, yes,” she says.
Edelia sighs and pulls out her phone.
“We all have a plan here. You are to watch her, ensure things are going exactly according to the plan we devised. Any deviations are to be remedied immediately or brought to my attention to do as I can to aid. We have a future for her, one that can not be interrupted by anything,” she says.
She types a message in her phone’s text messenger.
“And if that trio steps out of line again?” Miss Manako asks.
Edelia doesn’t respond. Her smirk says more than enough. Manako audibly gulps.
“And her parents? And that sister of hers? They’re getting way too curious about you,” Mr. Koyama says.
“Oh I assure you Mr. Koyama. The Dean and I have a perfect solution in mine if they get any more…interested in my past,” Edelia says.
She sends the text, leaving her two cohorts to look at each other in fear.
