Character Name: Allister Rambert (Real Name: Patrick Hubertus Kelly)
Nickname:
Hometown: Billed: Free Derry, in Northern Ireland. (Real Birthplace: Clifden Ireland)
Height:5'8"
Weight: 135
Alignment: Tweener
In-Ring Style: As a face: Allister uses a combination of quick, powerful strikes and running movies with the occasional high flying move. As a heel: Allister focuses mostly on overwhelming power and speed, very little other than basic prison beatdown tactics, especially if he can get away with using a chair or a bit of leadpipe.
Bio: Kayfabe: Rambert grew up in Derry, it was a rough but not abusive childhood, pro wrestling was one of his favorite ways to escape. After a wrestling show ended one night he went to a pub with one of the wrestlers. A fight broke out and the wrestler ran away leaving Rambert to take the blame. Rambert spent the next few years in prison learning how to fight in the exercise yard and gaining a reputation as a man not to be fucked with. Now he's out of prison having served his time and he's going to get back at the wrestler that left him to twist in the wind, and then he's going to get back at every other holier than thou bastard in this company that thinks they can shit on people like him.
As a face Rambert keeps the same history but portrays his past as mistakes that he is trying to make up for. He takes on the role of the working man trying hard to make a life for himself, but still willing to fight for what is right (and very willing to party when the long workday is through).
Real life: Kelly was raised Irish Catholic but grew up in Clifden, well away from the Troubles of Northern Ireland (though he had family involved on both sides of the conflict and uses that to his advantage in promos). His family moved to Sanford, North Carolina when he was 15 where he finished high school. After graduation he joined a local wreslting promotion and slowly earned his way onto the Action Wrestling roster.
Attire: Heel: He wears a prison jumpsuit with his prison number (24601) emblazed on the back as well as thick boots. He walks to the ring with a do-rag that he takes off before the match. He is bald with (fake) prison tattoos on his head and neck some of which might have... less than wholesome meanings. As a face he wears a leather jacket with a logo on the back (whatever marketing thinks will sell best online) as well a medallion of St. Michael and a rosary (which he often hands to a fan respectfully after the match) and leather pants. His tattoos are not visible and he will sometimes grow a very short hairdo.
Theme song: Heel: So What Anti-Nowhere league (very much uncensored), Skinhead on the MTBA by Dropkick Murphys (rewritten for him with references to the London Underground rather than Boston and removing the drug references)
Pic Base: Short and solid might be a good way to describe him. He may not be large but his obviosuly in great shape. He is either bald or has very short hair and a nose that has been broken more than once (during his formative wrestling years). He has a tattoo of St. Hubertus on his right bicep but normally keeps that covered while wrestling.
Entrance: Heel A police siren blares for the first few seconds of the entrance, the lights dim and pulsate like the lights of a police car. The siren and the lights stop and for a second the arena is dark. The words "So FUCKING What!" Ring and the opening chords of the song begin. The camera pans around the arena as his song continues before finding the area of the crowd he is entering through. He walks with an aggressive confidence, rudely brushing off any fans and occasionally making an aggressive lunge at them pointing and cursing he then jumps the barrier as his song reaches its chorus (he tries to make his jump occur at the utterance of "cunt" but doesn't always make it). He climbs the ring stairs at the first "who cares!" trying to enter the ring on "what you do!" then struts his way to the opposite turnbuckle, climbs it making rude gestures at the audience (usually a middle finger or inverting the peace sign and running his tongue between the fingers) before heading to the center of the ring before the end of the first course. (He is adamant that his music cut off before the second verse as he thinks its too far even for his character).
Face: TBA
Favorite moves (at least 15 moves):Cactus clothesline, droptoe hold, thrust to throat (heel only), mounted elbow drop, armbar legsweep, belly to belly suplex, Lou Thez Pres, hurcanrana, running knee strike, kick to gut (acompanied by a kick to the throat if a heel), knee dropkick, running dropkick, leg DDT, running elbow drop, corner choke, corner punches, lead pipe shot to the knee followed by one to the back (heel or hardcore only).
Signature move(s): The IRA (Irish Regular Assbeating), three repeated clothlines, usually followed by a hook to the leg and a pin (using the ropes as leverage if a heel)
Standing Moonsault.
