(While I'm technically using IC CJ for the broadcast, this is completely OOC and not meant to bring anyone down in any way)
Skybox Sports: AW Inside The Numbers
Silence. Darkness. As it has always been in the beginning. A light comes on that pierces through the darkness.
"SKYBOX SPORTS" appears above the symbol in a white, neon light. A few seconds later, the lights come on, revealing a studio designed in black and white. There's AW merch in various areas of the studio while a Phoenix symbol rests on the front of the desk. Sitting in the center with his eyes closed is one CJ Phoenix. He opens his eyes and smirks as the camera zooms in on his face. He speaks in a calm tone.
Phoenix: Welcome.....to the future.
An intro plays, displaying highlights from various matches from the previous AW shows while "I'm Back(To Rise)" by Mick Gordon and Omega Sparx plays in the background. The mini video package ends with the camera zooming out until it's revealed that it had been zoomed in on the dot of a lowercase 'i'. The background shows a bunch of numbers and statistics while the center shows "1n5id3 +h3 numb3r5" before correcting itself to "Inside The Numbers".
Phoenix: GOOOOOOOOOOOD NOM-NOM-NOMMING and welcome to this special edition of Action Wrestling: Inside The Numbers! I'm CJ Phoenix, and I've returned from Outworld! Why was I there? Well.....we're gonna take a quick look back at the first CruiserClash and Monday Night Clash of May! So without further adieu, let's board the ship and sail on into CruiserClash!
Phoenix: Tag team wrestling is a vital, yet often overlooked part of any wrestling promotion. A good tag division adds a much-needed layer of wrestling diversity as well as potentially legendary combinations. So when the tag team division gets billed to close a CruiserClash, you know it's special. Action Wrestling has quite a few great tag teams, so kudos to the duos!....and trios...and quads...and...you get what I mean!
CruiserClash Main Event Tag Division Matches:
(5/3/21: Pineapple Promenade vs The Gatecrashers)
(3/15/21: Two Gents vs Pineapple Promenade)
(1/25/21: RWB vs Two Gents)
(1/4/21: Pineapple Promenade vs Two Gents)
Phoenix: The Pineapple Promenade vs The Gatecrashers match is also the first non-title tag division match to main event CruiserClash this year. Additionally, it's the first time that one of these matches did not feature the Two Gents. In fact, Pineapple Promenade and Two Gents each have three appearances while no other team has more than one. On top of that, they're the only teams so far this year to have TWO main event matches against each other, both of which were title matches. With more teams emerging in this division, we may be in for more of the tag division being featured in the main event.
CC/MNC: "Main Event Madness"
Phoenix: While we're on the subject of main eventing, there have been quite a few wrestlers getting their moments on the top of their respective show's cards. You wanna know how stacked with talent Action Wrestling is? Check this out. We've barely entered the 5th month of the year, and 50 people have had at least one main event match!

Phoenix: You wanna talk about opportunities? Action Wrestling has a BUNCH of them! It's a testament to how much hard work pays off in AW. Not to mention it adds to the unpredictability. I've said it before, and I'll keep saying it. You never know who's gonna have a breakout performance next, but you know it's coming. That's one of the things that makes it so great. Now, let's wrap around to the beginning when I was talking about the tag team division. Four of those 50 wrestlers in the main event. Gatecrashers. Pineapple Promenade. A huge TLC match at Evolution IV looming. Millions at home with their eyes glued to their screens for this epic matchup! So how did this sophisticated showdown shake out?
CruiserClash: "About These Refs..."
Phoenix: This was not sophisticated. It devolved into a kerfuffle scuffle involving the whole tag division. The match itself was short, but somehow....some way...there was STILL gross incompetence from the zebra! What makes this match so strange is the fact that the winners would've stayed the same even if the ref did have situational awareness. While The Gatecrashers won by count out, they should've won by disqualification because Sara Pettis was being assaulted in the ring by RWB. I understand that sometimes it can be impossible to keep up with everything at once, but when you're counting out one team, shouldn't you at least occasionally take a glance in the ring to see if the other legal competitor is still there? Apparently this ref didn't get the memo, but they did get tossed away after the match like a used paper plate. This led to the whole tag division coming out and slugging it out with each other. So now Ref Ball has mutated into including flat-out negligence in the squared circle at vital moments.
Monday Night Clash: "Defense Keeps Championships?"
Phoenix: Keeping up with the theme of opportunities, with a plethora of championships to fight over, it's no surprise when you see a title match or two scheduled for Clash. Combine that with the fact that Evolution season is upon us, and you get an explosion of title bouts. Including the May 3rd edition of Clash, 28 title matches have been scheduled on Monday Night Clash this year. Amazingly, nearly half of them occurred in April, making it the second most title matches on Clash in a single month and the most ever since CruiserClash was born.

><contained a "Monday Night Clash of Champions" where every title was on the line
Phoenix: With that being said, titles often found themselves changing hands quite often when they've been on the line during an episode of Monday Night Clash. However, what doesn't happen often is when multiple titles are on the line AND they're all successfully defended on the same night. Claire Hawkins, Johnny Bacchus, and The Following all retained their respective belts on this past Clash, making May 3rd's Clash only the third time this year where three or more titles were on the line and they were all retained.

Achievement: Return of the Mack
-Returned to CruiserClash on 4/26/21
-Consecutive, decisive wins since returning
Phoenix: Absence makes the heart grow fonder, and that was the case when Addy A made her way back to AW. She returned to a thunderous ovation and immense fan support.....so she immediately told the fans to go fuck themselves for lack of better words. Regardless, she has one goal in mind. The Cruiserweight Title. Adding Addy to an already stacked Cruiserweight Title picture will surely make for some great matches in the coming weeks, especially since Evolution is approaching!
CruiserClash: Red, White, and Bruised
Achievement: Unstoppable Entertainment
Phoenix: You can pretty much count on Karlie Nash and Nikki Vaughn to have some shit to say on any given CruiserClash. Doesn't matter if you love them or hate them, they'll still find their way onto the screen. On a show where the most consistent thing is its unpredictability, RWB shenanigans is one of the surefire things on CruiserClash, making them an important part of every show. Keep up the good bad work!
Monday Night Clash: Dionysus
Achievement: Persistence
Phoenix: Can we take a moment to talk about how Dionysus is one of the craziest, and determined, people on a roster filled with lunatics and ACTUAL MURDERERS? All he wants is the #1 spot in the Havoc Rumble. You know, the event where most people would prefer to come out later because it gives them a statistically higher chance of winning. Dion doesn't care about that. Unfortunately for him, his request was denied. So what did he do? Did he cut his losses and accept his fate? NNNNOOOOOOOOOPE! He's STILL trying to get that first entry spot like the madman he is, and he's gaining more and more support by the moment. While he may be running out of time to get what he's pursuing, he's damn sure pursuing it with everything he's got!
The camera zooms out slowly as the light fades into darkness, leaving the neon glows as the only light source before they too fade to black.

Final Thoughts:
Phoenix: It's Havoc month!!! We're less than four weeks from finding out who's gonna get a World Title match at Evolution. We already have a few new people making names for themselves, more people looking to do the same, and what's starting to become Grand Theft Auto with a chance of another body being discovered! With only two weeks of shows left of shows before the penultimate PPV on AW's calendar, the battle for momentum and spots in the Havoc Rumble is getting immensely intense! Who's in? Who's out? And how long until the cops show up and arrest someone during one of the matches? Hopefully, these questions shall be answered in the coming weeks. Until then, thank you all for watching, and I'll see you next time when we recap the May 10th editions of CruiserClash and Monday Night Clash. Byeonara, everyone! Take care and be great! The camera zooms out slowly as the light fades into darkness, leaving the neon glows as the only light source before they too fade to black.
