Cold open. Mac Dunney stands alone in the middle of the ring, microphone in hand.
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to First Class Pro Wrestling presents: April Annihilation! Our second pay-per-view event… and our last.”
The cheering crowd falls silent at the last line, though some of the audible murmurs make it clear that perhaps this hasn’t been the best kept of secrets.
“I’m sure many of you have heard the rumours by now, and our extremely talented roster and staff were informed yesterday that this would be the case. I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank everyone, past and present, who has competed for FCPW as well as our announcers, commentators, interviewers and backstage staff for all the hard work they’ve done to make this place a success, brief as it may have been.”
A smattering of applause rings out, Mac giving it a moment before continuing.
“As for our talent, the good people behind IIW have agreed to welcome anyone on our roster who wishes to join them with open arms. Moreover, we’ve reached an agreement that will let the championships of First Class Pro be transferred over as well. Rest assured folks, whoever leaves here tonight with championship belts, they aren’t destined to just collect dust on someone’s trophy shelf.”
Mac takes a moment to compose himself, clearing his throat.
“Lastly, I want to thank you, the fans, for sticking with us. None of this would have been possible without all of you. I know our roster is ready to send this place off with a bang, so let’s do them a solid and blow the roof off!”
The crowd roars in approval as Mac nods and smiles before handing the mic off to Amanda Jackson and exiting the ring. The camera cuts over to ringside to a somber Tony Watson and a confused looking Lonnie Parks.
Lonnie: “Did you know about this?!”
Tony: “How did you not? We all got an email yesterday!”
Lonnie: “You know I don’t use email!”
Tony: “What about the facebook message? The DMs on twitter and instagram?”
Lonnie: “The only social media I use is TikTok, thank you very much.”
Tony: “Well, that’s what you get for showing up three minutes before showtime. Congrats, it’s our last day of work.”
Lonnie: “What, we don’t get to make the trip to IIW too?”
Tony: “They have their own announcers, Lon.”
Jacques LaRocque (from the French announce table): “Nous sommes en négociations.”
Lonnie: “... damn frenchmen.”
Tony: “Anyway folks, this might be our final show but as Mac said we’re gonna end it with a bang and tonight starts with one too! Amanda Jackson, take it away!”
Amanda: “The following is a fatal fourway matchup! The first woman to score a pinfall or submission will become the first ever FCPW Women’s Champion! Making her way to the ring first, from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England… “The Biggest, Baddest and Most Beautiful Brit In The Game; Queen Thicctoria, Plus Sized Princess” Victoria McKenzie!”
Victoria smirks as she saunters down to the ring to Little Mix's 'Power', the cocky and plus sized Geordie looks at the fans up and down with a mocking look of contempt; she even gets in the face of a few fans to jaw jack with them before she hops onto the apron and shows off her size by swinging her hips and grinding in a teasing way. Victoria then enters the ring through the middle rope and swaggers around, again showing off her size as she starts to talk trash to the booing fans, giving them the double middle finger or spinning around, bending over and slapping her own rear to show them what she thinks of them.
Amanda: “Next, from St. Louis, Missouri… Justice Cross!”
Piano notes could be heard over the pa system then Amy Lee's voice begins to sing. Justice begins to walk out onto the top of the ramp as the words "Wake me up" begin to play over the speaker now. As she makes her way down to the ring she argues with the fans then gets to the floor near the ring. Justice continues to the ring with a smirk on her face before climbing onto the stairs. When she would get half way onto the apron she turned her back to the ropes then did a back flip over them. With both feet on the ground she would go over to each side of the ring smirking as the fans had mixed reactions towards her.
Amanda: “From Atlanta, Georgia… “The Head Bitch in Charge” Taylor Blazer!”
“Notorious” by B.I.G. plays over the arena as the monitor lights up H.B.I.C. As lightning goes across the letters and a little smoke comes out on the stage. Taylor Blazer makes her way out from behind the curtains, with Jason Burns coming out, stepping to the side, trying not to be in her way. She poses at the top, showing her muscles, then slowly walks to the ring with a bit of attitude before stepping into the ring. Jason holds the ropes open for her as she steps inside.
Amanda: “And from Trenton, Ontario… “Fuck Yeah!” Fiona Harris!”
The arena lights flash low with the music until the lyrics hit and Fiona steps out onto the entrance ramp, dressed in little blue, black and silver wrestling trunks with a matching low-cut sports bra-style top, knee pads, kick pads over black amateur-style shoes, wrists taped. She struts a little down the ramp before breaking into a sprint about halfway down, sliding headfirst into the ring under the bottom rope, popping up to hit the opposite ropes and coming back, stepping up onto the ropes, one foot on the middle and the other on the bottom, facing the entranceway and striking a double bicep flex pose with a grin before hopping back towards the middle of the ring, ready to compete.
Tony: “Four great competitors here Lonnie, who do you think’s gonna walk out of here with the gold?”
Lonnie: “Why do you keep asking me that, Tony? Every match. It’s a fourway, it’s impossible to tell. All four of these women are capable of getting the win. Probably whoever isn’t on the receiving end of too many attacks from Victoria or Taylor. Or Fiona. Or Justice.”
FCPW Women’s Championship
The match starts with the four women in their corners, eyeing each other carefully, starting to move towards the center. From nowhere, Justice darts to her right, trying to catch Fiona by surprise with the Lights Out but Fiona pushes her off, straight into a big European Uppercut from Vic. The impact sends Justice staggering back to Fiona, who grabs her from behind and hits a front russian leg sweep! Justice holds her head as she rolls out to the floor.
Tony: “Unplanned teamwork from Harris and McKenzie, but it worked out nicely.”
Lonnie: “Imagine what those two could do as a team if they didn’t just straight up despise each other?”
Tony: “I don’t care where those two wrestle, I don’t think we’ll ever see that happen.”
Tay charges Fiona with a clothesline, who somersaults under it, back to her feet and off the ropes as Blazer hits the ropes as well, while Vic hits the ropes at a third side of the ring. As all three come towards each other in the middle of the ring at a dead run, Vic leaps for the Vic and Run but at the same time Harris drops down under her, Vic soaring over her as Blazer leaps OVER Vic in mid-air, Vic missing both women, crashing and burning near the ropes.
Tony: “Ridiculous athleticism by Blazer!”
As Vic pulls herself back to her feet, Harris and Tay meet, Tay throwing a kick that Harris catches, turning into a dragon screw, sending Tay rolling across the ring to a corner. Fiona turns in time to meet a massive shoulder block from Vic, sending Harris back somersaulting into the opposite corner from Blazer. As Blazer reaches her feet first, Vic turns and charges, smashing into her with a big body avalanche that puts Blazer down on her ass in the corner. Vic turns and hits the same move on Harris in the other corner with the same effect. With Blazer down Vic turns to face her, making a slow swivel of her hips before giving her rear a slap and charging, looking for the cannonball but Tay moves at the last second, rolling out of the ring, leaving Vic to crash hard into the turnbuckles upside down! Harris has managed to pull herself to her feet and spotting an opportunity, she sprints across the ring before nailing a baseball slide dropkick to the head of Vic!
Lonnie: “Fiona Harris and Taylor Blazer need to capitalize right now! If either of them can hit a big move, they might be able to get a pin before McKenzie or Cross can recover to break it up!”
Blazer slides back into the ring as Harris gets back to her feet. Harris charges Blazer, looking for a clothesline but Blazer ducks; Harris lets her momentum take her to the ropes, leaping to the second rope before launching herself back at Blazer, twisting into a crossbody. Blazer catches her and though the impact staggers her back a few steps, she keeps her feet under her, staying upright before driving Harris down across her knee for a backbreaker. Blazer immediately looks for a cover, hooking the leg but Harris gets the shoulder up at two. Blazer rises, pulling Harris up with a handful of hair but Harris surprises her with a trio of rapid body punches, followed by a jawbreaker to create a bit of separation. Harris quickly ducks behind Blazer, hooking her up for a front russian leg sweep but before she can hit it McKenzie levels both with a massive Vic and Run!
Tony: “There goes that window you mentioned Lonnie.”
Vic gets up to her feet, letting out a yell before grabbing Harris and tossing her out of the ring through the ropes. She turns to face Blazer, who has pulled herself back up. Audibly from the ring one can hear McKenzie say two words. “Hoss fight?” Blazer blinks before shrugging and nodding and the two charge each other in the middle of the ring, throwing punches and forearms with reckless abandon! The two stand in the pocket and trade bombs, neither giving an inch, absorbing shots that would drop a lesser woman (or man for that matter). Finally Vic looks for a European uppercut but Tay arches back from the impact, the miss taking Vic a little off balance, and Tay capitalizes by catching Vic with a big t-bone suplex! Vic staggers to her feet and Tay charges, Vic ducking behind her and launching Tay with a big german suplex! From nowhere Justice dives back into the ring, covering Tay but Vic drags her off before the ref can even get a one count. Vic nails Justice with a big right, Justice staggering back from that into Tay, who drops her with the Bad Bitch, sending Justice rolling right back out of the ring.
Lonnie: “Justice Cross really getting no traction in this bout.”
Tony: “Almost like she didn’t even show up or something.”
Vic and Tay look ready to square off again in the ring when a cry of “Surprise bitches!” is heard from the ring apron. Both women look over in time to see Fiona Harris flying over them, catching both women by the head and taking them both down with a springboard double blockbuster!
Tony: “Fiona Harris outta nowhere!”
Lonnie: “The baddest B-cups in pro wrestling, Tony!”
Tony: “See, shit like that is why IIW isn’t gonna hire us. You don’t hear the french guys talking about tits during matches.”
As all three women get up, Harris catches Vic with a jumping enziguri that staggers the Brit, then hits a rana on Blazer that sends her rolling out of the ring. Harris turns her attention back to Vic, taking her down with a swinging neckbreaker. Harris turns, runs and leaps to the second rope before launching herself down onto Vic with a springboard moonsault, hooking the leg but McKenzie gets the shoulder up at two. Harris catches the arm, rolling over and looking to lock in the Koji clutch! Harris gets her hands locked but before she can start pulling back on the choke Vic gets her legs under her, powering up with Harris hanging off of her, Harris releasing the hold and dropping to her feet before Vic can slam her down. Vic quickly catches Harris and launches her with a butterfly suplex! Harris staggers up to her feet and gets met with a huge running European uppercut that knocks her through the ropes and out to the floor!
Tony: “Harris in trouble now. Victoria can do a lot of damage outside the ring.”
Lonnie: “And there’s no doubt in my mind that Victoria remembers what Fiona did to her two weeks ago on Sunday Night Delight!”
As Vic poses for the crowd before stepping out to the ring apron, Taylor Blazer slides back into the ring on the opposite side. Vic starts to measure Harris for something but before she can do anything she’s blindsided by a huge running forearm from Tay, knocking her off the ring apron and into the guard rail. The guard rail helps keep Vic on her feet, Harris pulling herself up as well just in time for Tay to nail both with a huge crossbody from the top rope to the floor! Blazer is back on her feet first, putting stomps into Vic before turning her attention to Harris. Tay tucks Fiona’s head between her thighs before lifting her for a powerbomb but Harris slips out and down her back, landing on her feet. Tay turns and Harris hooks her up, drawing a pop from the crowd as she muscles Tay up for a brainbuster attempt but Tay manages to slip out the back door. As Harris turns back to her Justice charges them both, only to be met by stereo kicks to the ribs from both Harris and Blazer.
Tony: “McKenzie’s back up on the ring apron, what’s she going for here?!”
Lonnie: “CAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNOOOOOONNNNN BALLLLLLLLLL!”
Vic charges the trio of women, Harris and Blazer spotting her coming and stepping aside, leaving Cross to get flattened by the somersault dive from Vic as the crowd roars! Vic is a little slow to get up as Blazer catches Harris with a kick to the abs before viciously powerbombing her into the guardrail! Blazer turns to Vic, blindsiding her with a running knee to the head before rolling Justice into the ring.
Tony: “Taylor Blazer has a chance! Taylor Blazer’s alone with Justice! Blazer to the top rope!”
Tay leaps from the top, connecting with a picture perfect Bitch Stomp! She drops into the cover on Cross but before the referee’s hand can hit the mat for three he’s dragged out of the ring by Victoria McKenzie!
Lonnie: “McKenzie just saved the belt for herself, and the ref can’t do anything about it!”
The ref admonishes Vic, who just pushes past him and rolls back into the ring. Tay charges and the two start throwing bombs again, this time Blazer gaining the advantage, staggering Vic with a spinning backfist before hitting the ropes, but on the rebound Vic catches Tay with the Party Crash! Vic looks around, realizing they’re in perfect range, about a third of the way across the ring, and moves to climb the ropes.
Tony: “This could be a huge mistake for McKenzie! She could’ve gone for the pin on Cross!”
Lonnie: “Yeah, but if she hits this it could take Blazer out like it did Karlie Oberhousen!”
Vic reaches the top rope, pausing a moment and gets ambushed by Harris; Harris leaps to the apron, then springboards up and catches Vic with a rana off the top, Vic narrowly missing crashing down on Blazer before rolling away to a corner to recover. Harris takes in the scene for just a second before ascending the ropes, taking aim at Blazer herself!
Tony: “Fiona Harris ready to fly! Comet Crush Senton! One, two - no!”
Lonnie: “Jason Burns just earned his paycheck for the year!”
As the referee counts the pin, Burns reaches in and drags Harris out by the feet! Harris is visibly livid as Burns winds up to throw a punch, only to be met with a vicious kick in the groin from Harris!
Lonnie: “Oh god, I HEARD that one!”
Tony: “Well, Harris told Blazer what’d happen if Burns got involved.”
As Harris follows up on the crumpling Burns by hitting a DDT, Vic has staggered back to her feet, spotting Justice Cross barely moving. Seizing her opportunity, Vic deadlifts Cross up from the mat into position and nails Queen Victoria’s Coronation! She drops into the cover and the referee starts to count! Blazer starts to crawl over and Harris dives into the ring, but neither get there in time as the ref’s hand hits the mat for three!
Amanda: “Ladies and gentlemen, your winner and NEW FCPW Women’s champion, Victoria McKenzie!”
Tony: “What a match folks! All four of these women got the absolute hell beat out of them but we finally have a winner and you can’t say she didn’t earn it, Lon.”
Lonnie: “Absolutely. You don’t have to like her, but Victoria McKenzie has that gold for a reason. One small thing in any direction and it could’ve just as easily been Harris or Blazer, but at the end of the day… there’s the champ.”
As Cross lays motionless in the ring, Fiona rolls to the floor to sit with her back to the guard rail, nursing her injuries as a few fans reach over to pat her on the shoulder in sympathy. Taylor rolls out on the other side, laying next to Jason to check on him. The shot cuts back to an exhausted, grinning Victoria McKenzie as Mac Dunney presents her the championship belt, Vic raising it triumphantly before we cut away.
