Hey man! First things first, you are really appreciated here. Even after an 8-10 month departure, Kancer was trusted with an immediate high profile return and you’ve been put into a few tough matches as a result. You also had a tough break with the departure of your alliance members the following week - that was beyond your control. So where does that leave Kancer now? It doesn’t hurt you at all, in my opinion. You still have a really nice spot on the card with nowhere to go but up.
The biggest issue I saw with how you approached Odin was that you relied a lot on responding to what he had just posted. That’s not going to be a winning formula against a seasoned former World Champion who has a lot to say at this point in his return. What you need to do is develop a captivating personal story and find a way to apply it to whoever you happen to be facing that week. There should be overarching threads that weave the entire piece together. A character like Kancer, and those in his satellite like Rayne, there’s a lot of room there show how they become who they are. I know you’ve said he has twenty years of experience — we haven’t seen it. So give us some glimpses of it. Retcon parts you don’t like, reinforce the ones you do. Kancer has a ton of potential and there are a lot of places on the card he can fit in.
You’re doing a fantastic job ingraining yourself back in AW. A loss to a World Champion doesn’t hurt you at all.

You can be brave enough to post this thread and wise enough to reflect on all the replies. You're good.
