The shot fades in on Spayde Martinez’s Women’s Championship Belt.
Shot widens to reveal the belt is strapped around Spayde’s waist once more..
Spayde shakes her head.
Spayde smiles a gnarly smile into the camera.
Spayde scoffs and shakes her head.
Spayde shakes her head aggressively.
Fade to black.
“You’ll notice that she’s still mine.”
Shot widens to reveal the belt is strapped around Spayde’s waist once more..
“I went through every damn one of the 10 women this company decided to throw at me in their foolhardy, totally illegitimate effort to dethrone me like they were NOTHING, and there’s a simple reason why: they ARE nothing. Hell, I called out Lissie Hope the last time I cut a promo and what’d she do? Dodged me with a fist full of pills. Figures. I knew she wasn’t woman enough to step up and face off against me in an even, fair fight.”
Spayde shakes her head.
“But who does the company think ought to be the next in line to lose to me? Well, what do you know? It’s the spineless invertibrate that just refused to come after me when I dropped her like a bitch in the back...Azurine Vebbins is my next victim. I’m good with that. In fact, I’m fucking excited about it.”
Spayde smiles a gnarly smile into the camera.
“What do I have to fear when my opponent is the same chickshit nobody who let me punk her for weeks on end? What do I have to fear when my opponent couldn’t put a fucking DENT in my armor when she had the luxury of 9 other women being there to pitch in on the effort? Why should I have any emotional experience that’s not riotous laughter when it comes to Vebbins? What has she done to prove she’s a worthy contender? Her claim to fame thus far is as a Lissie Hope stan. Wow. What a resume, Azurine. Such an impressive set of accomplishments! I love it when the women who step into MY RING rely on the potency of other people’s images, achievements, and dreams instead of creating all of that for themselves.”
Spayde scoffs and shakes her head.
“Azurine is apparently content with only being remembered as Lissie’s biggest fan. I, on the other hand, would never be content with being remembered as ANYTHING that’s not ‘Spayde Martinez, Women’s Champion, Eternal Fucking Destroyer.’ I don’t have any respect for anyone who is willing to allow someone else’s efforts to define them. I don’t have respect for anyone who would take careful steps that ensure their bootprints exclusively fall inside of those who came before them. I don’t have any respect for Azurine Vebbins, and when I’m done stomping a fucking hole into her at Turmoil, if she’s still insistent upon ensuring she follows in the foot steps of stronger women who came before her, she can kick her own ass all over again.”
“But look, Azurine, it’s not a thing where I have some deep moral reason behind wanting to fucking destroy you. It really isn’t about you. To be clear, I want to destroy every one of the worthless gashes in this company, because there isn’t one woman in this place that should ever be offered the chance to stand on my pedestal or to share my spotlight. I am a queen among pawns, Azurine. You’re just something a pebble in my shoe. Annoying, yes. Obnoxious, absolutely. Inconvenient, sure. A threat though? Absolutely not. Just no. You’re not, Azurine. You’re not a threat. You’re not a challenge. You’re not even good enough to be a fucking obstacle in my way.”
Spayde shakes her head aggressively.
“Remember, Azurine, when I hurt you real fucking bad, there isn’t a hospital in the country that has a bed for you right now, so you’ve really got to think here…is it worth it? Turmoil will be exactly what every match I’ve had has been: entrances, one ringing bell, a snap and a pop, another bell, and my hand raised in the air while you wriggle around like an animal that got hit by a car. This isn’t complicated, Azurine. I’m not a future teller, but I know exactly what’s in store for you. If you had any intelligence, you’d follow the pandemic advice of medical experts and just stay the fuck at home. That’s the only way to know you’ll be safe.”
