Character Name: Trey Bouchet
Nickname: “The Cajun Catapult”, “The Suplexpert”, "Deus Plex Machina" "The Hedgehog Underdog"
Hometown: Point-Aux-Chenes, Louisiana
Height: 5’9”
Weight: 201#
Alignment: Face
In-Ring Style: “Hedgehog” Technical
Bio: Born with the "genetic predisposition to throw things", Trey discovered his eventual calling when his uncle took him to his first wrestling show when he was 8. Trained by Rex Regent, "The King of Pins", he knocked around the South East indy scene for several years before finally getting his big break in Action Wrestling. Was part of CruiserClash for most of his first run until he moved to Clash as a 'suplayer to be named later' in a trade between the brands. After being badly injured in a match he let his contract plexpire. Spent some time recovering and then wrestled briefly in other promotions until ultimately making his return
Personality: Plexuberant. Has zero filter, which can be equal parts endearing and annoying (as his habit of using 'word suplay'). His bluntness and relative lack of guile can lead people to think he's not especially intelligent. Tends to see the world in very stark terms of black and white. Has a natural inclination for underdogs and a strong aversion to bullies.
Attire: Short gold trunks. Black knee pads, elbow pads, and wrestling boots
Theme song: “Higher Ground” by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Pic Base: Chad Gable (post haircut but pre-Shorty G)
Entrance:
“Higher Ground” by Red Hot Chili Peppers plays.
Adeline Floyd: “Hailing from Point-Aux-Chenes, Louisiana and weighing in at 201 pounds, he is ‘The Cajun Catapult’ Trey Bouchet!”
Trey appears from behind the curtain. He wastes no time with theatrics, powerwalking down the ramp. Totally in the zone, ‘The Suplexpert’ does not interact with the fans. He enters the ring by the stairs and then moves to the center, faces the hard camera, points up with both hands before bringing them down and sweeping them side to side in a horizontal fashion while simultaneously shaking his head in the negative. Finally cracking a smile, Trey moves to his corner.
Favorite moves:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suplex
For match writing purposes assume he knows all the basic strikes and rest holds. He’ll hit a clothesline or an elbow drop if the situation calls for it. The rest of the time though he’s spamming suplexes. Also, Trey himself should be very hard to suplex; either escaping the attempt, landing on his feet after one is executed, or countering it with ‘The ‘Plex Factor’.
Signature move(s):
Top Rope Superplex which he rolls through for a belly to belly overhead suplex “Superior-Plex”
Three Rolling German Suplexes and then a Release German Suplex into the ringpost “Quadra-Plex”
Counters a suplex attempt with a small package/inside cradle pin attempt. Afterward he jumps up and gives his opponent the Dikembe Mutombo finger wag “The ‘Plex Factor”
Finisher:
Tornado Slingshot Powerslam Suplex (aka a Jackhammer) “Com-plex”*
Top Rope Cannonball “The Long Shot”**
*Puts opponent in front facelock and then climbs to the second turnbuckle. After diving off, he then lifts them, lets them bounce off the ropes, holds them in a delayed vertical suplex before finishing up with the Jackhammer
**ABSOLUTELY last ditch desperation move that he uses on opponents who are too big for his normal finisher
