Gimmick: The Perfectionist
*Summary*
Perfectionist is like, 2nd form Narc. It's a natural next step for the narc but can also be a starting point. Normally a mid card and top card gimmick, the perfectionist takes moderate creativity and writing skill but is devastated by loss and booking. It is a double edge sword where the handler often hurts themselves.
The perfectionist is never wrong, is top quality no matter what and cant be beat ( at least in their own head ). The perfectionist is a heel by nature and a tweener at best, being a snarky bully to get what they want and stepping on everybody to do it. Its an “I’m better than you” gimmick that doesnt even have to prove it to get over. Its a gimmick that works best when the handler digs in the feet and refuses to move. That's your corner of the hallways. That's what you cover. You don’t move from that spot.
The gimmick is found throughout the eco system but works best in midcard so that it can bully lower card gimmicks and handlers. A lower skilled perfectionist would have a hard time fighting more skilled writers of almost all gimmicks. Taunt lower card. Taunt higher card. Flaunt the wins and the losses. No matter what, you’re still perfect.
The perfectionist can survive loss but not bad booking. It be outclassed on a weekly basis hurts the gimmick. Hence why its best in midcard. Burnout can also hurt the gimmick because its upkeep can be exhausting with repeated loss. Most handlers get frustrated and drop the gimmick in favor of something more resilient like the Narc until they get good enough to try again.
* Survival *

Fed Utility: Taunt and frustrate lower card and low skill players. Play your gimmick till it makes everyone sick. dominant all thats lower, frustrate your skill level and poke the people you may not be able to beat.
Pros: survival of loss, low to moderate skill thresholds. Easy CD and shoot potential.
Cons: vulnerable to booking and burnout.
*Breakdown*
Ease of use: 3 of 5
The perfectionist lands in the middle. In the right hands its great. In the wrong hands, its cringy and painful. The low thresholds help it so that lower skilled handlers can grow if they chose but booking might due them in first
Creativity level: low
Takes some creativity but less than the narc. You just habe to hammer than perfect gimmick till your fingers bleed
Experience level: ALL
All levels will find success with this gimmick
Writing skill: low
The gimmick is almost immune to writing and creative skill. Again, you have one phrase: “I’m better. I’m perfect” you stick to it and you dont stop.
Overall recommendation: 4 of 5
If you have the desire or skills, go for it. If you’re new, try it out. It if don’t work, drop to a narc or heel strong style. That good thing is that you can switch gears with the perfectionist and still keep its core alive while the handler improves. Its fun to be annoying sometimes, just don’t let the gimmick pull you down if it starts to slide.
