Gunslinger is easy to use because its strengths are built in but the hindering factors are external. The need for excellence or at least the perceived ability to be so are high. Like the goat and the legend, the gunslingers upkeep is high
Creativity level: high
It takes a lot to maintain the gunslinger creatively through the years. The gimmick doesn't burn out but the personal burnout will be tough.
Experience level: pro and vet
- greenhorns stay away
Writing skill: strong
You need to be able to play this part effectively with your words. You need to convey the gunslinger at all times with little gaps. A strong writing skill is a must.
Overall recommendation: 2 of 5
Like the legend, the gunslinger suffers the same real world penalties. However, its a tad more forgiving because the gimmick is less dependent on the characters overall longevity. A pro and vet can both play it but vets can make the gunslinger special. The gunslinger takes a lot of personal sacrifice and willingness to keep forging ahead when things get back and that may not always be fun to the handler.
