They love the taste of blood
Now I don't know what that means, but I know that I mean it
Maybe they're as evil as they seem
Or maybe I only look out the window when it's scenic
We see Roger Wright hunched over, both elbows on his knees, Beer in his right hand, brown cowboy hat tipped down covering his eyes. Before him the flickering of fire licking at the sky causes flashes to distract our eyes. Slowly he lifts the beer to his lips, takes a long swig, and lowers it before leaning back in his chair, partial smile crossing his face.
Here we go again, everywhere I look, it’s the most special of individuals looking back at me. Caught up in the worlds problems, searching hard to find their place, pushing to figure out just what they can bring to the table. It’s like a thanksgiving dinner with a bunch of guests that can’t boil water, but be damned if they didn’t try their hardest. Everyone seems to think they need to find that thing, to create that originality that makes them special, that makes them standout, because who they are just isn’t enough.
Start with Tyler Ransom, had to spend that time in Prison, get that false sense that this guys hard. Why not? Who the hell isn’t hard after spending time in prison? That’s what he wants you to think, he needs that, because who he is on the inside just isn’t enough, he has to have you hanging on that false thought, that false belief so he can create a narrative, can try and have an edge.
No different when you talk about Dana Ellis, cashing in on the hot word of the year ‘woke’ like dropping it into her nickname and tossing warrior at the end will make us think she is a fighter for a cause. But don’t be mistaken, her cause is self promotion. Don’t blame her though, because at the end of the day people like Tyler and Dana all lack one thing, IT, that factor that makes you great. You either have IT, or you don’t. When you don’t you have to try and be something special, create something, anything to make people look at you, else they would just pass you over.
"Get real," they tell me
If only they knew how real this life really gets
They would stop acting like a silly bitch
They would respect the cock whether or not they believed in it
That’s where we differ, I don’t have to tell you all how great I am, you see it, from the way I move in the ring, to the way I carry myself. It’s the reason these mother fuckers around every wrestling organization I have been in hate me. They hold me down, not because I am the bad guy, but I am that guy you want to be that guy that can get by just being who he is. There is not made up shit to me, I don’t need a quote unquote gimmick to get by. I make my money on my talent, on my name, on my being ME!!!!
That makes you bitches sick inside, makes your stomach turn, the very thought that this guy could have it come so easy, he doesn’t have to work for it, it’s just who he is. The fans love me, not because I want them too, but because they recognize that greatness, you hate me, not because you want too, but because it’s just natural instinct to fear what you know is better than you!
So now I keep a close eye on my pets
Because they make most of they moves off of instinct and sense
It's eat, sleep, fuck, and self-defense
So straight you can set your clocks and place bets
Tyler, Dana, step down to that ring, bring that false bravado, that built and constructed personality that you want people to think makes you special. It doesn’t matter at the end of the day, you have to get into the ring with me, not some fraud, not some people playing fake it till you make it, just ME! When you stand there and look across the ring, you will get it, you will see the mistake that you have made.
Stepping into my ring, getting into my world, unprepared for the fight that is right before you. I’ll show you what it really takes to get the job done, where you should put all your efforts. Call it a lesson, call it a chance to learn, at the end of the day it will simply be a wake up call that anyone who cared about you should have told you was coming before you even got into the ring.
Roger smirked as he took another swig of his beer, placed both elbows on his knees and leaned forward, his gaze focusing in on the fire, the flames flickering and licking at the sky. Shadows danced across his face as our image of him faded out. The last thing we see is the bottle of beer raising up to meet his lips.
Doesn't take much and that's messed up
Because these people do a lot of simple shit to impress us
While everyone was trying to out-do the last man
I was just a ghost trying to catch some Ms. Pac-man
Now I don't know what that means, but I know that I mean it
Maybe they're as evil as they seem
Or maybe I only look out the window when it's scenic
