A cold wind blows through a snow dusted forest, bringing with it an ominous feeling throughout the land.
Amongst the white woods stands Thomas Snow. His normal optimistic demeanor is gone and replaced with that of a serious expression.
“Last week I proved why I should be taken seriously inside the ring. I took a veteran in Legion to their limit and made them tap out. I was happy with my win… Only to have it all dampened by a cowardly attack from James Nightingale. But I refuse to let such an attack break my spirits...
“Speaking of which, I need to take a second to thank one Malachi White for saving me from Nightingale’s attack. Without him, I don’t know if I would have been able to make out of the arena under my own power. Now we’re together as a team, taking on the very man that has been trying to eradicate us along with his partner, Felix Fortain. Admittedly two very tough opponents. But I believe the two of us are more than capable of downing our foes. I don’t know about Malachi, but I’m excited about getting some retribution...
“I need to talk about James Nightingale first. He calls himself “The Angel of Darkness” but the reality is he is nothing but a coward. He calls me weak but at least I challenge people face to face. I don’t jump people from behind and try to hang them with a chain. I’m nineteen years old and yet I’m more of a man than James Nightingale will ever be.
“He wanted to make a name for himself by taking out new, unestablished wrestlers. But that just proves how little research he does for his opponents. If he truly knew anything about me, he would know that I am no pushover. I’ve accomplished things in a few months than most wrestlers take years to do, if at all. That isn’t me bragging, that’s just pure fact. Since I stepped foot in Trinity Wrestling and now Action Wrestling, I’ve proved that I am the antithesis of weakness.
“So please, James, bring your chain and the rest of your weapons to our match. Whatever you need to make yourself feel brave and strong. Because I’m open to any and all fights. The only weapons I need to defeat you are my fists and feet.
“Tell me, what makes you so sure you’re going to ‘eradicate’ Malachi or myself if you beat us? Do you think we’re going to give it all up and run away if we were to lose? I’ve suffered much bigger losses to much better people than you, James. You’re not going to be the one to kill me.
“People like you are a dime a dozen, James. A self-righteous man or woman who thinks they are the solution to the world’s problems. Whether it be for good or bad reasons, often they fail. And you, James, will fail. Because you made the mistake of picking a fight with someone who will not die no matter how hard you try. You and Felix Fortain will have to actually kill me if you want to get rid of me. Because I will never go down any other way.
“Speaking of Felix Fortain, it seems fitting that he should be James’ partner for this match. He is the kind of person who is just a hired gun. Someone who is big and heavy and is only there as hired help to protect their partner. Felix, you’re just a human shield for Nightingale to hide behind. I will say that you’re the best person for the job. But with that said, your brute force won’t be enough when pitted against pure ability.
“You see yourself as some kind of old god, a sort of supreme being who is unstoppable. But it’s my job, as well as Malachi’s job, to prove that not only are you mortal, but you can be beaten. You claim to be a god but really you seem more like a pet, a puppet under the control of Mr. Nightingale. He is clearly the ringmaster of that team.
“You’re nothing more than the mindless heavy of the team. Usually, there’s nothing wrong with that, but against two people with training in real wrestling styles. It really won’t be too difficult. You can’t ‘eradicate’ or ‘devour’ what you can’t catch. You need to throw everything at me to slow me down long enough to get your hands on me.
“The adage rings ever true. The bigger they are, the harder they fall. You won’t be so big and bad when Malachi and I chop you down to size. And when we do, it won’t be with weapons or underhanded means, it will be by purely outclassing you.
“James, Felix, I need you both to know that I’m not the kind of guy to let things easily affect me. It takes a lot to poke the bear in me. So I hope you realize, that you really messed up. Because you revealed a side of me that isn’t easily accessed. But now that you have, I have no choice but to show you why I’m the Ice Prince, why I’m Mr. Trinity, why you shouldn’t mess with Thomas Snow.
“Legion learned firsthand that the cold is biting. James, Felix, I suggest you protect yourselves. Because you don’t want to find yourself caught in The Blizzard. It will not end well…”
Thick, white flakes of snow begin to fall onto Thomas’ shoulders. Snow doesn’t react to the cold substance, fire burns in his eyes like never before. He stares directly at the viewer as the scene fades to black.
