Character Name: Cassidy Adler
Nickname: Show Stopper, Heart Stealer, Heartbreaker, Loverboy, Pretty Boy, Radler.
Hometown: Rye, New York
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 175lbs
Alignment: Heel. Your girl wants him, and you want to punch him in the face.
In-Ring Style: Cass is a self-admitted cheater with little respect for the sport. He isn't technically proficient, but he is a relatively good athlete who is agile and using his smarts to get the advantage over stronger, more skilled opponents. He has adopted more of a brawler style with an emphasis on causing chaos and bending the rules to cheap-shot his opponents and get the win by any means necessary.
Bio: Cassidy Adler was born into a wealthy family who made their fortune off of various business ventures into fashion and film. From a young age, Cassidy was well-received by his peers and developed a large social circle, and continued to impress with his performance both on the field and in the theater.
It would be the latter that Cassidy set his sights on as a future; the obvious choice given his family’s background and the talent he appeared to have for the craft. He moved to Los Angeles and expected to hit the big stage sooner rather than later, but time went by quickly and he found himself in a similar position to where he started, even with the assistance provided by his parents.
Incensed by the film industry, his parents’ reputations, and his own inability to breakout as an actor, Cassidy and his twin-sister Olivia have decided to start a vlog/documentary detailing their experiencing as Action Wrestling’s future main-event stars, and will eventually look to get his rise to greatness turned into a movie before he returns to the industry as its next top megastar.
The Twin Gods Era: Cassidy and Olivia ravaged the tag-team division, disrespecting their competition, the fans and management while doing it. Their antics on twitter didn't cease during this time, and they eventually earned the distaste of many established talents such as Lissie Hope, Howard Black, Spencer Adams and Crow McMorris, the latter two being a pairing of legends that the twins would face off against for the Tag Team Titles in 2020. After sneaking their way to a victory with Olivia securing the pin for the victory, the twins time in Action Wrestling would come to be a race against time, with their contracts set to end at Evolution and pressures from their father increasing to end their 'stint' in the company and pursue careers in Pinnacle Films, the company their father made his name from.
At Evolution, Cassidy and Olivia were dethroned, not allowing them to fulfill their threat of exiting the company with a monopoly on the belts.
The Show Stopper / The Stopped Show: Mere days before Evolution, the façade of the peaceful, successful Adler family fell to pieces as Olivia Adler revealed some of the truths of the family at a Pinnacle Films awards night, where the twins' father was supposed to be receiving a lifetime achievement award. Given the 'opportunity' of giving the speech for the man of the hour, Olive exposed the secret of the disappearance of Frank Jr. who was announced dead as a cover-up for him being disowned from the family.
Aftermath + Betrayal: Due to Frank Adler's uncertainty with his children's contract situation, he resorted to bringing Frank Jr. back into the fold, returning him to his position as heir to the family business, a role which Olive had been expected to take once her brother had been disowned. This threw a wrench in the twins' plans, especially seeing as they were no longer the champions and had little leverage to operate with. Under the circumstances, they saw fit to renew their contracts and build their way back up to the top, a plan which was quickly thrown into the wind when both twins found themselves booked in the annual All-In Ladder match at Uprising. Olive was primed to win the briefcase and earn herself what was virtually a guaranteed World Title reign, but Cassidy's greed got the better of him and he tipped the ladder over, sending his own twin plummeting from a drop of 15+ feet through tables, breaking her arm and leaving her out of commission. Cassidy did not end up capitalizing on his betrayal and left Uprising empty-handed, and with a once strained but still loving relationship severed.
Loverboy: After a hiatus which was broken up by occasional singles appearances, Cassidy's name began appearing in headlines again when it became apparent that he had entered into a relationship with renowned star Lissie Hope. While many had their doubts about the relationship, it turned out to be even more opportunistic than what they originally imagined, with Cassidy and his older brother, Frank, putting together a documentary that had much of the drama between Cassidy and Lissie at the forefront. During their time together, Cassidy interfered in multiple matches including the tense rivalry between her and Graham Baker, as well as getting his nose stuck into drama with Adelaide Ainsworth and Johnny Bacchus which led to a tag-team match in which Cassidy ate the pin. Cassidy also amounted an impressive run in Cruiserweight Clash which he referred to as a "tune-up" before making his mark once more on the main roster, amassing several CBS All-Access Title defenses before eventually falling to Aphriya Adler in a MMA match.
Season 22: With the return documentary near premiering, and Havoc/Evolution looming in the near future, Cassidy has found a resurgence in terms of notoriety and is seemingly prepared to put more on the table than he ever has previously, signified by his first attempts at training since becoming a member of the Action Wrestling roster. The newfound effort is rumored to have come alongside a new contract and rebranding for the star already noted for being used for many advertising campaigns, as well as a video-game series.
Attire: Jordan Bred 11s, red boxing trunks that are way too fucking big for him with "RADLER" scrawled on them in gold. Both hands and wrists are taped, each week a new poorly drawn image on them.
Theme Song: 20 Min - Lil Uzi Vert
Pic Base: HOOK
Entrance:
"20 Min" by Lil Uzi Vert explodes onto the PA, shortly followed by a chorus of boos which greet the Heart Stealer himself, Cassidy Adler, trademark grin spread over his face as he bobs his head emphatically with each beat of the song. He spread his arms out to the side as he makes a show of walking down the ramp, making sure to spin around slowly as he does so to give the crowd a full 360 view of the man of their dreams.
"I met that girl right up at my show,
"Left her man in the crowd on the floor
"Out of town never saw her before,
"Told her baby we don't got that long,"
He smirks at the fans in the front rows who are booing in his face as he takes the steps up to the apron. Rather than enter the ring immediately, he waltzes around the outside to get to the other side facing the hard cam, where he leans against the ropes behind him and puts his hands behind his head, flexing and pouting his lips for the camera.
"I hit it fast, I hit it slow,
"But by the morning girl I gotta go,
"Gotta get ready tonight is my show,
"If you okay, you might open my show,"
Finally, he turns to face the ring and bounds over the top rope, but twists as he lands and executes a swaggy moonwalk that takes him right to the center of the ring. He takes a mocking bow, waving to the fans and blowing a kiss to Adilene with a smirk, who ignores him. After a moment, he walks to his corner of the ring and adjusts his tape, leaning back into the turnbuckle with a smirk as he gets ready for the match.
