"Viva Las Vegas" hits, and we're live from the Guiliano Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas! The venue has been set up to largely resemble a normal wrestling arena, but on a smaller scale. There is a barricade between the fans and ringside, and the fans are seated around the ring and entrance area, with "bleacher" style seating farther in the back. The announcers are seated ringside.
Zach Davis: Wow! I never got to call an XIII before, this sure will be an interesting show.. to say the least.
Shannan Lerch: These fans are ready to go, Zach, and so am I. We have some huge matchups tonight.
Zach Davis: But first, lets talk about the XIII event itself. It started as a venue for Creeping Death to book his own matches, do his own things-
Shannan Lerch: -and give himself Titles..
Zach Davis: ..but we learned that the Team of Torture would be running the show tonight. We then learned on Slam that they weren't TOTALLY in control as Slickie T, as CEO of CoolWear Inc., had the rights to determine the location.
Shannan Lerch: And here we are. Some bizarre mishmash of influences from Creeping Death, the ToT, and Allen Guiliano. This will be unique.
Zach Davis: Our first matchup will be D-Day up against Anthrax up against Ace Slaughter. This'll be an intriguing one as the former Hardcore Champion looks to get back on track here in WCF.
Shannan Lerch: Next up... Mikami up against Steve Carr in a casket match. I'm REALLY looking forward to this one, Zach. Because of Mikami wins, Steve Carr is as close to dead as a living person can get.
Zach Davis: That's right, Shannan. Steve Carr will be forced to disappear from the public eye completely. No media appearances, no shoot interviews, certainly no wrestling... this MAY be the last the wrestling world hears of Steve Carr.
Shannan Lerch: But remember, Carr is a veteran, while Mikami could still be considered a rookie. Mikami has a very violent meanstreak going, but Carr has fought people with similar attitudes. One man will bury the other man in a casket, and that will be that.
Zach Davis: We have a ladder match between Hector Rodriguez in Jay Price. This was originally scheduled to be a Television Title match, but Seth decided to punish Rodriguez on Slam by taking away the Title opportunity.
Shannan Lerch: Doesn't the Television Title have to be defended on every show?
Zach Davis: I guess Seth felt like bending the rules to screw with Rodriguez, Shannan. But yeah, these two men have developed quite a rivalry. They arrived in WCF around the same time, and took very different paths.
Shannan Lerch: Hector's path was based on respect, while Price, very much the opposite. Price won the Television Title, joined up with the ToT, and has been terrorizing the federation ever since. We'll see if Rodriguez can take him out once and for all.
Zach Davis: And in our main event.. the owner of this very casino is going one on one with a pure homicidal maniac. Greenfever.
Shannan Lerch: In a hardcore match.
Zach Davis: If the casket match could be Steve Carr's symbolic death, this match could be Allen Guiliano's REAL death. I know we're on his home turf, but Greenfever is just deranged enough to get this job done.
Shannan Lerch: We're a little over a month away from Slickie T's shot at the WCF World Title... we'll see if he can make it there.
