Love the lobotomized aloofness that Walter has accompanied by Etta’s general malaise to the situation. Harry Diderot offered an interesting parallel for you to explore the character and the shoot concept of “mental slavery”. Interesting stuff man!
(I’ll pm you my venmo details)

Where do I start? You could almost feel Walter’s penchant obsession and more so enchantment for violence and perversion come off the page. Goosebump Michael Myers kind of scary.
You really don’t know who he wants to punish more, Harry Diderot for being his first “victim” in the squared circle, his inner jealousy or obsession for everything Roger Payton Jr. stands for as a human being because Walter knows that he can never be human, per say, or is it the perversion he has for Loretta?
He knows she doesn’t enjoy the violence but somehow she is drawn to the violence because she has complete control over the violence for the time being. She might be more scary then him. Now, that’s scary.
Scene, Character Development, Shoot, Flow were all there. I just hope that I’m not the opponent at the time when you become fully zoned into Walter & Etta’s psyche.
Looking forward to your follow up.
