I was Torture.
Chris Avery. Tank Reaper. Kurtis Victory and uh, thats it.
My best friend in real life was Mike Maida or Naveed or whatever.
My other best friend who hates wrestling in real life but was huge into D&D and shit was Prince Jimmy Dean.
I took all those characters from them.
If you ever, honestly, felt that I was a huge super dick, it was me working or just being a smark cause im super sarcastic.
If I was a dick to you, its probably because you were super annoying or just a troublemaker that didn't need to be there ever.
Most people are surprised to find out im dope.

For the record, it's pretty fair to say that if you're a WCF alum, you're probably welcome here. The ones who aren't already know who they are and have been IP banned. If you think people are against you being here from some shit like 3 years ago, probably not haha. I think the negative vibes were in large part to a lot of things and when removed from that context, I think a lot more people can just be a lot more friendly and cool with each other.

I was in the WCF from January 28th, 2016 till May 8th, 2016. So my time there was a very short-lived 3 months & 11 days. Shadowlove was still being Shadowlove.
I was still in the character development stage of Shadow & Miyamoto, so I think I won like 2 matches and had double figure losses at the time. But I was starting to face some of the top-tier talent so things were fine with me before Seth shut it down due to the behind the scene incident everyone knows about.
I went back to the WCF for WAR XVI after getting an e-mail invite from Seth or probably would’ve never went back and had that Top 10 finish against 50+ other wrestlers. That gave me a proper understanding were my characters stood in the WCF but character wise didn’t feel the same vibe I felt before so I stayed in the UCI. Plus, I could never have pulled off a two organization run at the same time that most people can because that would’ve weakened my characters way too much and the WCF & UCI would’ve both deserved my best effort.
I’m sorry to see the WCF closing, but 20 years was one helluva run for any e-fed organization in today’s role-playing climate to have.

Haha, no. That's me. (Flattered you think I had anywhere near Casey's talent though). Wanted a fresh start here. Not to be deceitful but because my baggage is so heavy I didn't want to pay the excess charges ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) I was younger then, was in unrecognised depression, was emotionally an all or nothing person and got way too embroiled in offence at what I perceived to be a sometimes unpleasant culture at the time. Whether it was or not is for others to decide but regardless, it wasn't worth getting fired up over. For what it's worth, during my second spell in WCF back in mid 2016 I'd noticed a big change and also find AW's culture to be incredibly supportive and friendly. I would've stayed longer during that time but life was getting manic. I had my first child just over two years ago which has changed me dramatically in terms of priorities over what to invest in emotionally. I apologise for not owning up from the outset. If there's any hard feelings, do let me know. Brent Alpine??? What in the actual FUCK? LOL

Wait.. Casey is Marina Valdivia??? I used to RP with Maria's handler way back in the day... NIWF days.. Also used the name Jay Swift.. Well with all these right guesses, I might as well confirm this as fact.
Marina struggled in WCF... not in terms of W/L record (she was like 13-4 or something like that IIRC), but getting people to care about her (at least I thought so). I do admit a fair portion of that was my own doing with instances like putting too much pressure on myself during big matches and taking prediction threads too personally and trying to hard to fit in and whatnot and being all "well she's my main character so I HAVE to do epic with her and people have to care etc etc". I was way too overprotective of her for my own good and things didn't turn out the way I wanted to there, so I wound up giving up and leaving.
Casey has been the complete opposite of everything above... lol. I think the main difference is Casey grew up in this community (in UCI and now AW) and I wasn't as pressured to do amazing things with her. I do feel like if Casey was in WCF instead (though she wouldn't exist until 2016), I would have done better in that fed.

I remember you and recall liking your work. Thank you for today because it's prompted me too to own up. I feel now like a weight's been lifted and I can interact here freely as myself. I was holding back a lot OOC as I didn't know if there was still hostility due to my bitching in the days of Brent Alpine. EDIT - Also, I agree on your point about expectations of your character. I think many of us might have been the best writers in our classes growing up, best among our friends etc. It's easy to build that into an identity. Difficulty here is there's some serious high quality concentrated into one fed. Look at Havoc - some of the RPs posted read like they are from top selling novels. I think staying calm makes it easier to learn, develop and breathe air into our characters.

I have an idea. WCF doesn’t have to close down. What if WCF becomes like the NXT of Action Wrestling. We could have someone run it. But, instead of being another pro board or website, it can be here as a sub board of Action Wrestling. Whenever we get new guys here, we send them down to the sub board, WCF. This way, they can hone their skills, learn more, and practice. Then, when a person is ready to be thrown in with the wolves, we send them up to the main roster, or on the pro board or Action Wrestling. All we need is another team of people to oversee it.

i sort of thought Seth would be gone a few months .... and then come back but since I tended to wander off for months at a time ...when i came back the last time i could see the problems ... and then i switched to part-time after war .....
I found WCF after a couple of non starts in a couple of trash feds I saw someone talking about the WCF in one of the shoutboxes so i looked it up and joined then i joined uci and then ended up here
