Ok so I will keep this thread stickied here on the RP board. Something important for you to know is how we judge RPs here. Not every fed does it the same, but here is essentially the winning formula.
Content
Does the RP have entertaining content? Is it good overall content?
Quality
Is the writing good quality? We judge QUALITY over QUANTITY here in Action Wrestling. We can spot filler a mile away.
Spelling & Grammar
These are both important as they make it easier for us to read roleplays. They also make your wrestler sound more coherent. For the people who struggle with either one of these, there are plenty of online tools that can help you with spellchecking and grammar, including the forums themselves.
Story
We want you to have a story going on in your roleplays. Something as simple as you meeting with someone and having a random conversation is not a story. Part of your roleplays are referred to as character development and you need to be working on exactly that.
Match Focus
The more focused your character development and shoot are on your match and Action Wrestling in general, the better. This does NOT mean that you can't tell stories about your character outside of the realm of Action Wrestling. When you do though, it's always best to find a way to tie things together with your match or time here in Action Wrestling. The more everything comes together and flows together in your roleplays, the better.
Shoot
One of the most important parts of your roleplay is your shoot. This is the part where your break down your opponent, where you brag about your character's prowess in the ring. You talk trash to your opponent and your goal is to convince the reader why you will win the match. You'll convince the reader why you're the best wrestler in the match and better than your opponents.
NOTE: You do not have to do every single one of these things in your RPs. You do not have to be an expert at each one of them either, the more you implement each one of these into your roleplays, the better shot you have of winning. Remember, you don't have to be the best writer in the world, just do better than your opponent(s).
If you have ANY questions about this, please PM Gravedigger or Torture and we'll be happy to answer them.
