You can't tell me I saw the look in his eyes. I was so close that I let my emotions get better. This should have never happened but it did. Now, I'll have to suffer the consequences but I'll drag everyone down with me who gets in my way.
EPIDEMIC.
A single spotlight in an empty interrogation room shines directly down on Serenity Holmes. She is sitting alone before the silver metal table before her staring at the double-mirrored panel before her. She sits upright sporting her usual routine clothing outfit of a grungy teenager with her signature black hat twisted backward. Her hands are latched together on the table by a zip tie as she slowly stares into the mirror with a smile.
"Zara and Vincente. I don't want to hear a single word from you both. You have no means to speak upon what happened to me last week when both of you haven't done anything of worth recently."
She rolled her eyes and chuckled. The disputed sinister tone in her laugh made the atmosphere unsettling as her eyes burned with an intense notion of anger.
"Zara? Your transition from MMA hasn't been a pleasurable one. All you do is prance around pretending to be this monster but ever since you've stepped foot into Action Wrestling, you've fallen worse than Paige Vanzant. You need to understand this business isn't for everyone and the last time we fought, I beat you down to the point Herb Dean couldn't call the fight!"
A slight laugh escaped her lips and she continued on.
"And Vincente? I bet you were the first one to cheer Teo Blaze beating me last week. Your favorite idol in this business once again doing what you couldn't do. After all, you didn't even come close to where I was when Joey Bunga granted you the cruiserweight championship after I beat you to be All-In. No, you were awarded as a loser so you were gifted a charity case!"
Serenity slowly stood up from the chair and broke the zip-tie around her wrists. She sat on top of the table with her legs crossed before resting her hands on her knees. The light above her flickered a little bit.
"These are two pathetic wrestlers who have barely scratched the surface of success. The main event? These two wouldn't even have come close to it if it wasn't for me."
"I got Lazaro Vincente a championship match he didn't earn because Joey Bunga was either too coked up or a pathetic idiot who doesn't know what professional wrestling is anymore. Zara? How many times does she need to attack an interviewer all because they couldn't appease her ego?!"
She looked upwards to the ceiling and the lights flickered again. Her heavy breathing was a sign of her anger boiling to its climax far quicker than usual. Many have been concerned with her emotional instability but Serenity was enjoying it more. Her nature was changing.
"You two don't know what it means to be in my shoes. You can try to analyze and determine what is best for me but in three matches, I already eclipsed both of you. You're not in the main event because of yourselves, no. You'd be more delusional than you both already look."
"This is for ME!"
"Everything on this brand is for ME!"
"You two are nothing compared to ME!"
She stood on her feet and walked towards the glass before pressing her finger down on it. Cracks started to form across the window panel before she gently placed her palm on the window causing it to shatter completely exposing her to the other side. Watching her all along were these inanimate mannequins painted with smiles and their arms pointing at her.
"This is all I see now. The world watching from behind a mirror makes fun of me. Everyone is against me and always enjoys it when I fail you. I know you two were one of them from the days I embarrassed you in the ring. You're going to suffer, I'm going to make you suffer and break you both completely."
"There is no turning back now. Your careers are over!"
