You either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain.
HEARTBREAK.
"I loved you more than I did my father at one point."
Serenity's alone in her room at her family's home sat at the edge of her bed holding a dusty Teo Del Sol mask. Her flatscreen showcases the reign of Teo Blaze as WCF People's Champion.
"You were my hero at one point, my idol. When all the chaos ensued in my family between my parents, I watched you get away from it all. You were the embodiment of fighting through it all. I worshipped you as a kid."
Her hands gripped the mask as tears streamed down.
"But never meet your heroes because they'll only disappoint you."
She lifted her head and her eyes narrowed as her hands started crumpling the mask.
"You are by far the biggest piece of shit in this industry and you had the nerve to call me spoiled and tempered. You, Teo Blaze, who was afforded the luxury to change your name, your persona, take off your mask, and promotion hop whenever you see fit."
"To even speak the most cliche promos, bore us with unnecessary poetic speeches and get fanatic crowd reactions."
"To win championships, face the biggest competitors and use people with a smile on your face."
Her lip quivered watching the footage.
"Yet you call me spoiled."
She leaned forward looking at the ruined mask fall to the rug-covered floor.
"Who do you think I learned it from?"
"Who do you think taught me the truth of this industry when you took that mask off and became Teo Blaze after WCF's Mexico Incident? Who do you think showed me what I have to do when you became the final WCF World Heavyweight Champion?!"
She shook her head and held the remote in her hand.
"And guess what happened after? You couldn't keep the belt when my uncle Corey Black took it from you. You were made the final WCF People's Champion and was content on it while my father defended it one more time."
"What's the excuse? Busy defending the cruiserweight championship against another man who had your last name and made the belt his own?"
A slight sinister chuckle escaped her lips. Her breathing increased with the weight of the emotions pouring.
"And speaking of last names, you change yours often too. You never mention anything about your family or how you grew up even though we're both from Houston. You have the nerve to speak on mine but when it comes to yours, you hide that deep down."
"I mean, you were so hurt by how I treated your brother, Jenson, but when you screwed him out of the cruiserweight championship and used him to win it back? Nobody bats an eye. I guess his victory over you still hurts."
"That's how you treat family Teo? Don't judge me because I enjoy representing my last name proudly."
She took a second to regain her composure but this had to be said.
"But you've disrespected mine for far too long."
Above the television is a portrait of her family from her younger days and her eyes are glued to her late her mother before looking down at the footage again.
"You broke my heart."
"When I was being ruined by Katherine Phoenix who tore my family apart, what did you do? You made jokes about it. You played to the chaos of my life falling apart."
"When I needed you most, you slapped me in the face and laughed at my very pain WITH THIS!!!"
She pointed the remote to the television and clicked a button that presented this picture.
"So there you have it, Teo."
"This isn't just for the cruiserweight championship."
"This is for showing me the type of person you are. A callous, pompous, sickening, and manipulative asshole who hid behind a mask to lure people in but that mask is gone. You have nowhere to run and hide"
She stood up from the bed.
"October 10th, I'm taking that cruiserweight championship to save everyone from you. I'm ending you permanently TEO!!!"
Serenity threw the remote into the flatscreen shattering it completely.
