Karlie is working in her office as an underling enters.
Underling: Everything is in place, some of the church volunteers have headed down to Florida to help with relief for those still recovering from the hurricane.
Karlie: Good to hear, the rest will head down after tomorrow’s service, once we’ve collected all the non-perishable food items, clothing and essentials those folks down there will need.
Underling: That’s great, and this will be great publicity for the church.
Karlie: I don’t care about publicity, it is about helping folks in need, you're excused.
The underling exits.
That’s what separates us from other churches, it is not about recognition.
Karlie takes a sip from her tea.
During this downtime I’ve had to reflect on the fact that I’m not the women’s champion, but everyone saw me give Jill Park one hell of a match, she won’t admit that of course, her ego simply won’t allow it.
Karlie takes another sip from her tea.
This downtime has also allowed me to heal a few nagging injuries I’ve been dealing with, but I’m one hundred percent and ready to get back to the grind.
Kira walks into the office.
Kira: I have that whole contract thing with your new protege worked out, there shouldn’t be any problems going forward. But I have to ask.
Karlie: You and everyone else have to stop asking, and just trust me.
Kira: Alright, if you say so, anyway I’ll leave you to your work.
Karlie: Lock the door behind you, I need to get this church work done with any more interruptions.
Several hours later.
Another week another week where the odds are stacked against me, but honestly I enjoy the constant challenge.
Lazaro, I’ll say this you’ve had some decent matches, but let's face it your biggest accomplishment is barely being able to beat Raj Banerjee, but hey you beat a kid with barely any wrestling training, so that’s great good for you.
Karlie smirks.
I’m not Raj Banerjee, Lazaro, you know who I am, and you know how good I am inside a wrestling ring and you know that my technical wrestling is far superior to your Mexican Lucha Libre, and your know I’m a better brawler than you, and you know you don’t have the ability to beat me, but bring your best Lazaro and watch me wipe the mat with you. Lazaro I’ve been at war with Lucha libre since becoming Mexican tag team champion, and I admit I’ve lost a few times, but a record reign as Mexican tag team champion is far superior to anything you will do in Action Wrestling, honestly I don’t think you have what it takes to be a champion in Action Wrestling you lack the killer instinct, and when the bell rings in Seattle, you’ll get to experience first hand why I’m Cruiserclash’s only premier athlete, I’d wish you luck, but you’ll need more than luck, trust me.
I guess we really are going to fight forever aren’t we Arurine, bound to fight until we're no longer of this earth, but knowing us we’d probably end up fighting in the afterlife too. We’ve done this dance a million times it seems, singles, Tag, multi person matches battle royals, you name it and sure we’ve beaten each other more than once, and no doubt this week we’ll try to do the same again, honestly I do get a little satisfaction from beating you Azurine.
Karlie paused to catch her breath.
Everytime I put your shoulders to the mat, your mom gets a little extra frisky in the bedroom.
Karlie smirks
Azurine the one thing I use a motivation every time I wrestle you is the fact the you've held a single title and I haven’t, it fuels me Azurine, it's the gasoline I throw on the fire that’s our rivalry, and this week Azurine I’m rested and motivated to beat you once again. Lazaro is just collateral damage.
Karlie leans into the camera.
Azurine, Lazaro, hear my words and hear them good, Cruiserclash triple threat, I win you lose, it’s as simple as that.
