Inside the examination room Karlie sits on the gurney, and she hurts like hell, obviously still feeling the effects of the tag team match the night before. Karlie runs through the messages on her phone as she awaits the doctor, who has just entered the room.
Doctor: Other than a few minor bruises and those stitches to the cut you sustained from the beer bottle shot you’re perfectly fine.
Karlie: Thanks Doc.
Doctor: You're free to go.
Karlie slides off the gurney and walks past the doctor and out of the examination room, she enters the waiting area when Tracy, Hilda, and Audrey are waiting.
Karlie: Good to go.
Tracy, Hilda, Audrey, and Karlie exited the hospital, Karlie stops to sign autographs for several fans then moves along.
They arrive back at Karlie’s residence, Karlie and Hilda head for the downstairs gym.
Karlie: Time to go to work.
Sometimes the sound of silence is a good thing.
Karlie sat on a bench off a local walking trail, it’s early morning, and the sun is breaking through the trees. Karlie breathes in the crisp fall air.
Know thyself, know thy enemy. A thousand battles, a thousand victories. Sun Tzu.
For my time in Action Wrestling, I’ve battled, I’m fought, I’ve went to war and and through every battle through every war, whether, I won or lost, I always emerges stronger, tougher, and a whole lot fucking wiser, and yet people still constantly disrespect everything I’ve done in Action Wrestling. I’ll admit there were time when I lost focus and there were times when yeah I didn’t take certain matches seriously, September nineteenth, you can fucking bet I’m one hundred percent focused on knocking Jill Park off her fucking high horse.
Jill, it’s easy to look at everything you’ve done in Action Wrestling and look at the who’s who you’ve beaten, FPV, Kidgrove, Alice Gemini and everyone would be envious, everyone but me.
Jill, you might possibly be wrestler of the year, another accolade to share with followers on twitter, Instagram or whatever social media you plaster your face over.
What a moment it will be when I drop you on your brain dead head, and take away your women’s title.
Karlie takes a pause.
I know what your thinking Jill do I really deserve this title shot, do I deserve to stand across the ring from Jill fucking Park, you god damn right I do. The real question is do you deserve to stand across the ring from me, sure I beat two scrubs to win earn this title shot, but that doesn’t mean I don’t fucking deserve it.
Karlie takes a deep breath.
Sure my one previous shot at the women’s title was a loss to Serenity Holmes, no fucking shame in that Jill, maybe you need to learn a little about that. The Women’s title is a prop to you, something for you to parade around on red carpets, and whatever worthless events idiot sponsors ask you to attend, your a former reality star, but when to bell ring for the main event of cruiserclash, Jill I’ll be your reality check, winning the women’s title means I’m not just the top Women’s wrestler in the Action Wrestling, I’m the top Women’s wrestler in the fucking world, and you have no idea how much I want the women’s title, and you have no idea what I’ll do to get, if I have to go bat shit crazy, to walk out as women’s champion, I’ll do it, if have to bleed I’ll do, if have to take your best shots and laugh in your stupid fucking face I’ll do it.
Karlie pulls the camera in close.
Look in the eyes Jill, you won’t see any fear, I don’t fear you Jill, I’ve battled giants, I’ve battled monsters in Action Wrestling and I’ve slayed them all, and I’ll slay you and send you back to the B show short one title, you see Jill people like you always look your nose down at people like me, but in the end, it’s people like me who put people like you in their place, and when you walk into my house, into my ring on Cruiserclash, you learn a valuable lesson, that no matter you good you think you are someone will come along who’s better. Jill, the women’s title needs someone who will hold the title to its highest esteem, and will defend it with honor, something I’ve been accused of lacking, the Women's title deserves to be held and defended by a premier athlete, and unfortunately Jill, that just isn’t you.
Karlie pushed the camera back.
The welcome mat is out for you Jill, but don’t expect a warm friendly welcome, expect fucking Hell on earth. And Jill.
Karlie stares into the camera.
I’m the goddamn Devil.
