Nashville Tennessee.
Karlie and Tracy wait at the airport for Vincent.
Tracy: You should be feeling good, you had a great win at Turmoil, beating Corey Bull is a big moment for you.
Karlie: If it was Corey at his peak, sure he brought it hard like I thought he would, but at times it felt like he was just going through the motions and just wanted to get through the match, and move one day closer to retirement.
Tracy: Okay, but I still think you should enjoy the fact you won.
Vincent pulls up to the curb and steps out, and puts the bags in the car, and they then drive off.
Vincent: So big win at Turmoil, I’m proud of you Karlie.
Karlie: Thanks, dad.
Vincent: So still holding things down at the compound.
Karlie: Yes, dad, you should really come for another visit, I know your knees still hurt, from that match you had down in Arkansas, if nothing come to the compound, and try out my state of the art Gym.
Vincent: Maybe someday I will, but for now I rest my old bones here at the old homestead.
Karlie: Okay dad.
Vincent: So you got the Zalez kid this week.
Karlie: Yeah, the winner gets to enter last in the Cruiserhavoc rumble.
Vincent: That’s a huge advantage.
Karlie: Yeah.
Vincent: If only I was twenty years younger, and fifty pounds lighter, I might be tempted to enter.
Tracy: I’m sure you would, honey.
Vincent pulls the car into the driveway and takes the bags inside, Karlie and Tracy walk inside.
Karlie: I’m going to take a nap.
Karlie exits the living room.
Tracy: She’s been doing that a lot recently, personally I think Karlie is running herself thin with all the work with the church and traveling around the country wrestling, plus maintaining a personal life.
Vincent: I think she’s worried about her mom, now that she’s been redeployed overseas, she never liked it when Diana or I went overseas.
Tracy: Yeah but it’s uncanny how she can just tune everything out when it comes time to compete.
Vincent: Yeah. I’ve watched several matches of the Zalez kid, not impressed.
Tracy: Me neither, he has to rely on Doc Knockem to help him win matches, probably can’t win a match on his own.
After several hours Karlie is up from her nap, and grabs a quick shower, then takes a walk.
Roddy, you and I have a bit of a past, yeah you beat me way back in a CBS title match, but not without help from Doc Knockem, and and belt shot to the head, at that loser idiot John Blade’s American Made we both lost to that slimy weasel Cassidy Adler, recently at Turmoil, you won the tag team titles again because of help from Doc Knockem, face it Roddy without Doc Knockem running interference you and Kitsumi never beat the Gents, while at Turmoil I beat a future hall of famer by myself.
Karlie stops to admire the hot grandmother crossing the street in front of her. Karlie smirks then moves along.
The difference between us Roddy, is your inner circle, they’ll stroke your ego and convince you your better than you really are, everyone knows I'm the pinnacle of Action Wrestling’s cruiserweight division, if someone builds a Mount Rushmore of Cruiserclash I’m on it, mention the four pillars of cruiserclash my name is one of them. I’ve done more for this company than a punk like you ever will do, Roddy. Roddy this Monday we roll into South Carolina for cruiserclash and everyone thinks you're going to walk through me and gain the last entry into the Cruiserhavoc rumble.
One Samuel two verse three states, Talk no more so very proudly, let not arrogance come from your mouth; for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.
Roddy, your arrogance and your reliance on Doc Knockem are your Achilles heels, , when the bell rings I’ll exploit both to my advantage, and you won’t know what's happening until your staring up at the lights and I’m being announced as the winner.
