Harvey Marx vs. Max Daemon
"Dead Bite" by Hollywood Undead blasts out on the arena's speakers. Once the guitar riffs begin to form, Max comes out with his hooded jacket zipped up tight.
Billy: Holy shitfire!Chris Avery: Max Daemon coming out without a drink in hand!Billy: He’s taking this serious, Chris! He holds his hands apart, making them into finger guns. As he points them towards the sky, fireworks go off on his left and right. Max gives off a faux "shot" with the finger guns, making a huge firework blast go off behind him. He stares towards the ring, nodding his head and focusing intently on what's ahead. He ignores any of the fans trying touch him, male or female. The look on his face is one more of apathy than annoyance or anger.
Adilene Floyd: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Making his way to the ring first. He is currently residing in a version of San Mateo, CA. Weighing in at 180 lbs. He...is Max...DAEMON!
Chris Avery: That, and as has been documented, he has a BIG fight against a MMA fighter at a UFC pay-per-view coming up soon, and they take drugs and abuse VERY seriously.Billy: I am getting word, too, that initially the fight was scheduled for March, but it sounds like they really want to sell this for a big pay-per-view, so they’re pushing it to April!Chris Avery: Max vs. a UFC fighter in APRIL live on pay-per-view! You heard it here folks!Once Max reaches ringside, he takes the steps up onto the apron. He falls in between the top and middle ropes, rolling through and landing on his feet. He throws a finger gun to the camera, "shooting" it off before walking back and jumping onto a nearby middle rope. He gives a quick finger gun "shot" off to the crowd before hopping into the ring, ready for the fight to come.
When them music fades away and Max is left in the ring, pacing back and forth, “Leather Teeth” by Carpenter Brunt hits on the PA. A plume of smoke appears on the stage with accompanying lights ebbing in and out. The crowd immediately goes nuts.
A quick shot to the ring shows Max looking rather impatient.
Soon, a burst of pyro explodes and the plume of smoke suddenly turns into a green burst of fireworks that soar into the ceiling. With another harmless explosion in the rafters, the arena suddenly starts to get a lot greener.
Chris Avery: Are you shitting me?Money suddenly starts to pour down from the ceiling. The crowd is in awe and start to cheer even louder. Max is unamused and starting to get even more pissed.
Billy: Get out of my way, I need that money! All around the arena, money begins to rain, and the camera catches Harvey Marx standing in the concourse towards the back. Harvey, with his cane in hand, gives a little wave to Max. In response, Max climbs onto the turnbuckle, pointing to him and demanding he get down there.
Chris Avery: My god what an entrance for the Magician!Harvey tosses his cane under his arm and begins to make his way on down to the ring. Max gets off the turnbuckle and continues his pacing. Harvey bypasses the fans who want a high-five or just want to shake his hand, opting instead to just meander to the ring, down the long set of steps in front of him.
Adeline Floyd: And his opponent, from Seattle, WA. Weighing in at 400 lbs., he…is HARVEY…MARX!
Once Harvey reaches ringside, he hops over the barricade. He gives a little twirl for the crowd, placing him on the floor near the ramp.
Which is perfect position for Max to hit a suicide dive, taking Harvey down! Harvey's music abruptly stops. Max doesn’t waste time and strips himself of his hooded jacket. Once that is free, he grabs Harvey’s cane, reeling back and swinging for the fences, breaking the wood in half on the showman’s back.
Billy: Match hasn’t started yet!Chris Avery: Max taking advantage of that AND Harvey’s crowd control! In all this mess, Harvey manages to get his own suit jacket off his back.
Max grabs Harvey by the back of the head and throws him in, quickly following behind. With both men in the ring, the ref cautiously rings the bell.
DING DING DING
Once Max reaches his feet, he hits the ropes, taking a perfect opportunity to BLAST Harvey in the face with his knee!
Chris Avery: Oh shit there’s Ebony! With a smirk on his face, Max keeps Harvey’s head up before rushing towards the opposite ropes. He rebounds back with a HARSH knee to the back of Marx’s head.
Chris Avery: And there’s Ivory!Billy: Living in perfect harmony!Harvey collapses to the mat before Max rolls him over, hooking a leg.

KICKOUT
Max looks to the ref, arguing his case. He grabs Harvey by the arm, pulling the big man up. Unfortunately, Harvey is too strong and powerful, opting instead to reverse the grip. He sends Max reeling back into the turnbuckle. Harvey charges, but at the last minute, Max dodges. Before he can collide though, Harvey stops himself.
Billy: Harvey’s startin to regain his faculties! He turns around, noticing Max just reaching his feet. Once again, Harvey charges, this time hitting Daemon with a shoulder block that sends him ass over kettle to the opposite turnbuckle.
Chris Avery: And there’s the power of the Magician!Billy: The guy’s a showman, the guy’s an entertainer, but he’s also a fighter and one hell of a powerhouse.Max’s eyes are wide as he stares across the ring at Harvey. He starts to raise his arms, getting the already raucous crowd more pumped up. Max gets to his feet, starting to run towards Marx. The magician meets him halfway, quickly sweeping his right leg, taking him to the mat. Harvey covers, but before the ref can even count, Max gets out of it.
Billy: Max shown not to go down that easily in the past.Max crawls away from Harvey, sliding out of the ring. This earns a set of boos from the crowd. Max turns to them and starts to shout, giving a few of them the middle finger. A particularly vocal female in the front row stands up, starting to yell at him. Max takes notice and approaches.
Chris Avery: Max, always a fan of the people.Billy: Yeah, but check out the hooplas on that one!She clutches her cup of beer tight while Max and her exchange harsh and volatile words. The trade middle fingers in each other’s faces, all culminating with Max smacking the cup of beer into her face and onto her revealing shirt.
Chris Avery: Well come on now that’s just uncalled for.Billy: She does anything more and she might get kicked out of here.Harvey sees this and exits the ring. He grabs Max by the arms from behind, trapping him place. Max notices the situation and digs his hole deeper.
“Do it,” Harvey tells her.
“Fucking do it! I dare you bitch! Do it!” Max shouts back.
The female fan recuperates and sends her right hand flying, smacking the side of Max’s face. Harvey lets go and Max returns to the ring. Harvey stops security from ejecting her, telling them that she’s good in his book. They stand down and Harvey returns to the ring as well.
Billy: The security wanted to kick her out for touching a wrestler, but Harvey told them no. That’s some unfair ringside advantageChris Avery: The entire crowd hates Max. The entire arena’s an unfair advantage for him.Max gets to his feet, reeling from the hard slap. He turns around and is immediately taken down with a double leg. Harvey remains standing and looks out to the crowd.
With a smile on his face, he lifts Max and starts to rotate clockwise, elevating Daemon off the mat.
Chris Avery: The Giant Swing! The Giant Swing!Eventually, Harvey drops Max, but he isn’t done. Despite the dizziness, his smile returns and he lifts Max up AGAIN, sending him rotating counter-clockwise this time.
Billy: Oh god not again…Chris Avery: And doin it again! Bringin it back around town! After enough rotations to make sense out of any volume of Mission Earth, Max hits the mat and Harvey falls forward, taking the pin.

KICKOUT
Marx starts to clap his hands, getting the crowd to react by doing the same. He grabs Max’s head, making sure the smaller man reaches his feet. Harvey then Irish whips him towards the ropes.
Before Max’s back can hit though, he flies through the top and middle, hitting the floor feet first and stumbling towards the announce table. He catches his breath and composure, trying to regain his balance.
Chris Avery: This match is not going the way Max planned it, obviously.Harvey shakes his head and sees the positioning. With a smile on his face, he hits the opposite ropes. Max turns around and sees the approach.
Billy: WHOA LOOK OUT! BIG MAN TOUCHDOWN!On the rebound, it looks like he’s going to FLY OUT OF THE RING, but at the last second a plume of smoke appears in his spot.
Chris Avery: There’s that supposedly fake magic!Max jumps back all the same, nearly taken down by a man of Marx’s size. No, instead another plume of smoke appears at ringside nearby. Harvey appears in that smoke, pointing at laughing at Max, something the crowd is happy to join along with.
Billy: Well that’s not very nice.Chris Avery: Kinda funny though.Billy: Yeah, but still.Max shakes his head, clearly at odds with what he just saw. He charges for Harvey, starting to throw right hands. Marx responds in kind, both men trading shots back and forth.
Billy: Marx is a big man, he can hit pretty damn hard!Chris Avery: Yeah, but Max has been training in an octagon for brawls like this, not to mention those Pure Division matches, we’ve seen him knock out guys with his strikes!Eventually, Harvey blocks a shot from Max, hitting a jab that sends him back. Marx takes a few moments to interrupt the ref’s count. That’s all Max needs as Marx turns right around into a Superkick!
Billy: Bam what a superkick!Marx stumbles but remains standing. In response, Max runs up the steel steps. He uses the apron to rush towards Harvey, hitting a tornado DDT that takes the big man to the floor.
Chris Avery: A tornado DDT from the apron!Billy: Way to keep on him!Max gets to his feet, noticing that Harvey is still stumbling despite. He shakes his head and grabs Harvey by the back of the head, again throwing him into the ring. Max takes a few moments to flick off the crowd trying to cheer Harvey back into it.
Billy: Max spending way too much time hating on this crowd.Chris Avery: Sometimes these things boil over.Seeing his opponent reaching his feet, Max gets onto the apron. He grabs the top rope and springs up, going for a move, but he dives right into a plume of smoke!
Chris Avery: He went for the Crossbody!Harvey is nowhere in sight! Max hits the canvas and holds his stomach in pain.
Billy: More magic!Chris Avery: Where’d he go this time?Suddenly, below the ring, the apron is pushed up. Harvey appears from under the ring in front of the announce desk with a smile on his face. He approaches them, shaking the hands of both Billy and Chris before taking a seat at the latter’s right. He takes a headset and begins to commentate.
Harvey Marx: Good evening boys. I hope you’ve been having a good time.
Billy: Hey Mr. Marx, big fan of your work.Harvey Marx: Well thanks for that Billy.
Chris Avery: Gotta say, you’ve really been outsmarting Max here tonight.Harvey Marx: Max is a friend of mine, a pal, a buddy, he knows this is all in good fun.
Once Max notices a lack of Harvey, he turns around to spot him.
“Are you fuckin kiddin me?” Max screams.
Chris Avery: That is some genuine anger for a friend of yours.Harvey Marx: Maxie likes to take things personally. Can’t really joke around with him, you know?
Billy: This is nice. I like this.Max shakes his head and rolls back out of the ring.
Harvey Marx: Well boys, this was fun, but I have a match to get back to.
He stands up and sets the headset down, meeting Max halfway with another set of blows. One hits Max flush and is enough for Harvey to gain an advantage. He grabs Max’s head and slams it headfirst into the announce table. He then turns him around and slams Max headfirst into the apron. Harvey grabs him by the skinny jeans and tosses him inside.
Harvey follows soon after, but as he enters the ring, Max, still back first on the canvas, kicks the middle rope, sending it crotch first into Marx!
Billy: Ooh boy that’ll do it!Chris Avery: Using the ropes is NOT illegal just highly unencouraged.Max gingerly gets to his feet, hitting a boot to Harvey that takes him tumbling to the apron.
Despite being talked down by the ref, Max has enough energy to grip the top rope. With Harvey on his hands and knees, Max sees an opportunity and springs over the top rope, catching Harvey with a DDT mid-air onto the apron!
Billy: Shitfire! A DDT over the top onto the apron!Chris Avery: That’s the softest part of the ring! Wait, I read that wrong.Max rolls Harvey back inside, joining soon after and hooking a leg.

KICKOUT
Max ignores Harvey’s kickout, opting instead to hit the ropes. He hops onto the middle rope, bouncing off right after with a follow-up moonsault onto Harvey. Again, Max covers.

2
KICKOUT
This time, Max acknowledges the ref, arguing that that was three.
Max grips his hair, starting to get annoyed. He looks down and sees Harvey on his hands and knees. Max responds with a kick to the man’s abdomen.
Billy: There’s a lotta gut there to kick!Chris Avery: You would know buddy!Max then raises his right arm, tapping it a few times before standing over Harvey’s back. Max then slowly, methodically, hooks the arm under Harvey’s chin, sitting down and leaning back, locking in a dragon sleeper!
Billy: Shitfire! That’s the Arbiter!Chris Avery: We haven’t seen that move in a while!Max locks it in tight, sticking out his tongue as he stretches Harvey back. The ref continues to ask him, but Harvey says no.
Billy: This move has made lesser man pass or tap out!Chris Avery: Amateur athletes, big men, second generation talent, you name it!Eventually, Harvey starts playing to the crowd, trying to get them into this again. Max shakes his head, refusing to allow this. He starts elbowing Harvey, trying to keep the crowd silent.
It’s to no avail, and eventually, Max has enough. He lets the move go and wraps his arms around Harvey’s waist.
Billy: Good luck with this.Chris Avery: It’s not dead weight, but any weight of that amount is gonna FEEL dead.He struggles to lift him, but eventually his tenacity pays off. Harvey’s feet leave the ground once, but are set back down, which is enough momentum for Max to hit a Saito suplex to the 400 pounder!
Billy: SHITFIRE MY DUDES!Chris Avery: A Saito suplex! From Max to a guy of that size! What ridiculous strength!Harvey lands rough on the back of his head/top of his back and with no time to settle, Max pulls the nearest leg close.

KICKOUT
Max shakes his head, reaching his feet and pleading with the ref. The ref maintains his count.
Billy: Oh boy that hit hard!Chris Avery: Focusing on that head and neck area, a cornerstone of his offense.Max pushes his hands through the hair and punches the mat a few times. He sees Harvey nearby, stirring but mostly out. Max decides to hit the apron. He starts the trek to the top rope.
Billy: He’s also a big fan of flying.Chris Avery: High risk, some reward.Once he is up there, he sees Harvey reaching his feet. Max eggs him on, waiting for the right moment before leaping and turning around so his back is now facing Harvey. He then hits a picture perfect moonsault—RIGHT INTO A PLUME OF SMOKE!
Billy: Abracadara babey! The smoke appears halfway across the ring by the opposite turnbuckle. Max adjusts himself mid-air, landing on his feet gingerly. He stumbles a bit, the landing awkward. He turns around and Harvey charges, taking Max down with a HUGE clothesline that turns Max around and sends him flipping around in what looks like a phoenix splash!
Chris Avery: What a fuckin clothesline!Billy: I think Max’s shoes just kicked him in the head!Marx rides this adrenaline, turning Max over and hooking a leg.

KICKOUT
Harvey starts to get pumped by the crowd. Using the momentum, he waits for Max to arise. When he does, he finds himself taken down with a shoulder block.
Billy: Here we go! Pick up the pace.Max gets back not long after, this time taken down by another clothesline.
Chris Avery: Bringin him up and takin him down.Once again, Max gets to his feet. He limps forward into a sidewalk slam by Marx. Harvey gets to his feet soon after and once again gets the crowd pumped.
Billy: Chicago is lovin him!Chris Avery: United Center on their feet, unglued, unhinged, wantin to see Marx beat Max!When they are at their peak, Harvey grabs Max, sending him into the ropes. Unfortunately, Max catches himself on the top rope. Marx sees this and charges, finding a pair of combat boots to his face. Harvey stumbles away, allowing Max to rush forward.
Billy: Still in this!He hits a headscissors, making sure to showcase the rotations he sends Harvey circling himself for a moment. Satisfied, he turns down, sending Marx flipping over his head and towards a nearby turnbuckle.
Billy: Oof! That’s a lotta size to flip there.Max struggles to his feet, using the opposite corner to do so. Harvey does the same, though much more easily recoverable. Max nods and smirks, charging for Harvey WHO GETS OUT OF THE WAY!
Chris Avery: And STILL Harvey can dodge it!Max eats the top turnbuckle pad, turning around to take a HUGE splash!
Chris Avery: Boom! Crushed him!Harvey isn’t done as he starts tearing into Max with right and left hands.
It reaches a point that the ref steps in, getting it between them and proving the perfect opportunity for Max to start grabbing and tearing at Harvey’s eyes!
Chris Avery: Ah there we go! The ref can’t see it, go for the easy way!In his blindness, Harvey accidentally piefaces the ref, taking him back towards another corner. Max spots this and HOOFS his magical opponent right between the legs!
The crowd start booing as Harvey turns his back. The ref turns around, quickly recovered, but otherwise doesn’t say anything.
Billy: Shitfire! An Attack to the Groinal Region!Chris Avery: Ain’t That Just a Kick to the Dick?!Max looks at Harvey for a second before leaping up, hooking his head and hitting a backstabber!
Billy: The Devil’s Trigger! The big man hits the mat and Max hooks the leg.

BUT HARVEY KICKS OUT AT ONE!
Max gets to his feet, finding himself face-to-face with Harvey who does the same. Given the situation, Max’s eyes go wide and his mouth remains agape!
Billy: SHITFIRE! HE KICKED OUT AT ONE!Chris Avery: HE KICKED OUT AT ONE ON THE DEVIL’S TRIGGER!Harvey eyes Max for a second before faking out a punch. Max reacts all the same, hitting the mat and turning around as if he was struck! He covers his head, almost cowering into the mat.
Chris Avery: Juked him out!Billy: Second time tonight!Harvey leaps and jumps onto Max’s back, taking him to the mat fully in a prone position. He then sets his arms around his knees and grips him under the chin.
Chris Avery: There’s a Camel Clutch!Billy: That’s pretty old school! And that’s cool! The ref is on it, asking if Max quits. He refuses and shakes his head.
Harvey nods his head as Max’s hand starts to rise.
The crowd sees the hand, but it all turns sour when he yanks Harvey’s tie!
Billy: Oh man! He’s still got the tie!Chris Avery: He must’ve forgotten to take it off in all this chaos! On a three count, Harvey regrettably lets the hold go. Max lets the tie loose, taking this time to grab the bottom rope with both arms.
Chris Avery: Max huggin that bottom rope like he does his hookers at night!Harvey steps back, taking some time to remove his tie. He then uncuffs his dress shirt, rolling up the sleeves and cracking his neck and rolling his shoulders. Marx stands in the middle of the ring, taking a boxer’s stance.
Billy: It’s fightin time. No more BS, it’s time to brawl!Max looks around, spotting this. He doesn’t move from his position on the bottom rope though, smirking at Harvey for a moment.
Chris Avery: For a guy lookin to fight a professional MMA fighter, Max is in no hurry here.Harvey’s look of intense focus turns to frustration for a moment. He then reaches into his dress pants, taking out a pack of cards.
Billy: Whoa! Wanna play 21?Chris Avery: I’m more of a Hold ‘Em guy myself.Max looks confused for a moment, unsure of what’s happening. Harvey opens up the packs of cards, tossing the box out of the ring. He then shuffles up the pack, not letting his frustration remove itself from his emotions.
Eventually, he holds the deck out towards Max.
“Fake magician huh? Fine. I’ll play your part. Pick a card!”
Billy: What?!Chris Avery: Now THAT’S a true magician!Max now looks openly stumped, but slowly, he removes one arm from the bottom rope. He reaches out for the deck of cards, but his short Cruiserweight sized arms don’t allow him to grab it in his current position.
Gingerly, he releases the other arm, upon which Harvey launches the deck of cards at Max!
Billy: Ready for 52 card pick-up?By reaction, he tries to grab it, and he does! With both hands!
Chris Avery: Wait a minute!Still gripping the deck of cards, Max reaches his feet, realizing that none of the cards are coming loose! Almost like they’re all glued together!
Chris Avery: Somehow those cards are all one block! One deck stuck together!Billy: Man this Harvey guy’s a riot! Magic upon magic upon magic! With the deck in hands and still confused, Max reaches his feet. This is ample opportunity for Harvey to unless a right fist to Max’s chin.
Billy: Pow! Right in the kisser! The deck of cards goes flying, this time, somehow, the 54 cards (can’t forget the joker and the instructions on how to play Poker) go flying out of the ring! Max stumbles for a moment, allowing Harvey to Irish whip Max across the ring.
Once Max hits the opposite ropes, he quickly bounces back with a JUMPING KNEE TO HARVEY’S FACE!
Chris Avery: Holy shit what a headshot!Billy: That’s a Pure Division classic from Max right there!Seeing Marx stumble, Max responds back by hitting the ropes and nailing a Superman punch!
Chris Avery: Same for that one!Marx hits his knees, holding his chin and head protectively. Max doesn’t continue the assault, opting instead to roll out of the ring. He flips the apron up, grabbing a roll of athletic tape from below.
Billy: Tape can be used in a wrestling ring on an opponent. He slides into the ring, unwrapping it and starting to tape-up his right hand.
Billy: For example…Chris Avery: Max has been training for his trip to the Octagon by taping his fists. I think he’s finally ready to take on Harvey in an actual fight. He uses a good portion of the roll, taking a lot of the tape and using it around the appendage.
Eventually, he rips some off and throws the roll to the outside. Harvey looks up and takes a hard right hand.
Billy: And there’s the first shot!Harvey turns to the ground, but Max grabs his chin with his left hand, dragging him up and nailing another right fist!
Chris Avery: And another one! With the taped hand causing more impact for Harvey and more power for Max, he shakes out the hand a moment before nailing another one to the back of the head!
Billy: Oh god!Chris Avery: And now the back of the head!Harvey reacts by lifting his face towards Max, which is enough for him to nail a fourth punch!
And a fifth!
Sixth!
Billy: JESUS!Seventh!
Eighth!
Chris Avery: Get in there ref!Ninth!
Before the tenth can strike, Max drags Harvey to his feet. Stumbling a bit, he leans on Max to maintain his position. Using what strength he has to remain standing, Max manages to keep Harvey up in the middle of the ring.
Chris Avery: Harvey looks almost out here.Billy: Nine straight shots to the head with hard right fist. No shit.Max reels back, going for a tenth punch…but stops.
He suddenly turns it into a huge slap!
Billy: Here's to you Mrs. Lady with the Big Hooplas!Max stops Harvey’s head from going reeling, gripping the chin and making sure he looks directly into his eyes. Max yells some more choice words for Harvey.
“Your show is over and your façade is done!”
He then releases a wad of spit on Harvey and finishes it off with two middle fingers, giving Harvey an ol’ “fuck you” for good measure.
Chris Avery: No love lost for sure!He turns around and hits the ropes, rebounding back RIGHT INTO A SPINNING SIDE SLAM!
Billy: Shazam!Chris Avery: I wanna make a joke about the DC superhero or something but holy shit it might be over!Harvey, still woozy, carelessly grips Max’s skinny jeans in an attempt to hook the leg.

THR—MAX GETS HIS SHOUDLER UP
Harvey turns to the ref, and before he can even say anything, the ref maintains that Max kicked out.
Chris Avery: That was close!Billy: But Max still kicked out!The crowd is on their feet, with no sign of silencing anytime soon.
Harvey gets to his feet, holding his head close and trying to maintain some form of steps. He slowly starts to undo his dress shirt, deciding to just rip the damn thing off halfway. He still has his white dress t-shirt on underneath.
Chris Avery: Oh it’s serious time.Billy: When the big man takes off of his shirt, you know you fucked up.As Max starts to crawl towards a corner, Harvey tosses the dress shirt onto a top rope. He approaches Max, who turns around and sees his opponent.
Marx points to spit on his chin, and Max responds with a smirk.
Before sending another lob of spit into his face!
Billy: And another one!Chris Avery: Nothing says “go to hell” like spittin a guy in the face.Despite the two wads of spit and the ultimate form of disrespect just shown, Harvey can’t help but smirk.
Billy: What does he see here that we don’t?Chris Avery: Maybe this is somehow Max’s way of showing respect? By not treating him any different?Billy: Man Max is a fucked up dude.Max continues to respond in kind before unleashing a taped right fist to Harvey’s face. Daemon shakes the hand out afterwards, holding it close to his side.
Billy: Oof that right hand.Chris Avery: That’s gotta be broken. Looking at its angle, there’s no doubt.Marx stumbles back, but soon responds with a right hand of his own.
Billy: And there’s Harvey’s receipt.Given the situation, Max can’t help but send another one of his own taped right hands into Harvey’s chin.
Chris Avery: Max with that broken hand.Harvey nods and sends a right hand back to Max’s.
Billy: Back and forth.Max looks like he’s going for another, but Harvey beats him to it with a left hook to the dome!
Chris Avery: Back and bam!Max leans back against the top turnbuckle, clearly stunned.
Billy: He clipped him!Harvey goes for another right haymaker, but Max suddenly ducks it! Harvey turns around into a spinning enzuguri to the side of his head!
Billy: Fuckin whoa! Outta nowhere with that spin kick!Chris Avery: Max has always been a striker! But these are hitting harder than we’ve ever seen!Billy: If he can hit that enzuguri in his fight against whoever he’s facing, he deserves the UFC Title right then and there!Max crawls himself towards the apron, going over the bottom rope. Once on the edge of the ring, he uses his left arm to reach his feet. He looks in the ring to see Harvey stilled dazed from the kick.
Billy: Going back up top. Bold choice this late.He starts to head up top, stopping himself briefly to shake off the obviously injured right hand.
Chris Avery: That right hand is fucked up, there’s no question about it.Once he is on the top, Harvey turns around and sends a right hand into Max’s chin. Daemon remains on the top, much more comfortable up there than his opponent.
Billy: You mentioned high risk, some reward earlier. This is gonna put it to the test.Despite this, Harvey climbs to the bottom rope, gripping Max by the head. Max fights out, starting to unleash a series of taped right fists to Harvey’s face.
Chris Avery: He has the high ground! He ain’t givin it up!After one final harsh one sends Harvey tumbling off the bottom rope to his knees, Max resets himself.
He leaps with Harvey still not on his feet!
Max jumps with a shooting star, flipping mid-air and meeting Harvey as he reaches a vertical base!
He grips Harvey under his chin, revolving down to his signature backstabber!
Billy: HOLY FUCKIN SHITFIRE!Chris Avery: No fucking way! That killed him! Both men collapse to the mat, with Max barely having the wherewithal to throw an arm over Harvey’s chest.
Chris Avery: A SHOOTING STAR INTO A DEVIL’S TRIGGER!ONE!!
TWO!!
THREE!!
DING DING DING
Billy: I can’t fuckin believe it!“Dead Bite” by Hollywood Undead starts to play on the PA.
Chris Avery: Max did it with a move straight out of his ass!Billy: His usual stuff couldn’t do it! Why NOT pull something outta there? The ref gingerly raises Max’s arm with the injured hand.
Adilene Floyd: The winner of the match: MAX… DAEMON!
The crowd really want to boo this, but find themselves giving both men a standing ovation.
As replays of the match start to play, Max starts to reach his feet using the ropes, opting to do so one-handed.
Billy: With a hand that’s no doubt broken—and how’s THAT gonna affect his fight—Max manages to pull out a win here against his longtime rival!Chris Avery: And what a hell of a fight these two were in! Neither man wanted to quit! Neither man wanted to lose! But in the end, it was an innovative Devil’s Trigger—the ol’ faithful—that did Harvey in!Max stops, turning back around for a moment. The ref has awoken Harvey enough for him to lift his head up towards Max.
Daemon shakes his head but stumbles back towards him. The music quickly cuts away as Max hits a knee next to Harvey’s body.
Chris Avery: Can’t just take the high road, can ya Max?Hesitantly, Harvey lifts a left hand, offering a handshake.
Max shakes his head and opts instead close the left hand. He then pounds his own left hand against Harvey’s, something the crowd immediately erupts for!
Chris Avery: Well son of a bitch…Billy: Max may not be a nice guy. He’s actually a pretty terrible bastard. But he can certainly show respect where it’s due and it’s definitely due for Harvey tonight.Max rolls out of the ring, his music starting up again and keeping his right hand close to him as he makes his way to the back.
Billy: With a UFC fight on the horizon and a date with a clown comin up soon, Max Daemon walks out of Turmoil a winner! But goddamn, give it up for Harvey Marx who put on the fight of his career! Unfortunately, it was too much, and with that broken hand clearly in play, Max walks outta here…with a ton of momentum going forward.
