Sometimes trying new things doesn't pay off.
The very first promo I ever cut for Action Wrestling was just me in front of a camera telling a shit load of opponents in the first Cruiser Havoc what I was gonna do and I damn near went out and did it.
So that's what we're doing today.
I call it going back to basics as I prepare to defend my Cruiserweight Championship in a Chicago Street Fight against the most basic of basic bitches.
Hi Terra.
Before our tag team match you asked a few questions I'd like to go ahead and answer.
The first thing you asked was who the hell I was so allow me to introduce myself properly.
My name is Jonathan Cade Keeton but you can call me JC, the only person that calls me by my full name outside of my grandmother is my lowlife cousin Lochlyn Cade and he was too chicken shit to stick around when I got back.
I'm a second generation professional wrestler trained by the legendary JJ Biggs.
I'm part of the reason CruiserClash is as successful as it is today because when the show launched I was one of the marquee names.
I defeated the greatest Cruiserweight of all time to win the title a year and a half ago.
Then I showed back up on November 1st and beat your ass in near record time to claim this title for a second time.
The next question you asked is how you lost to me.
Well that Ms. Walker is a much more simple answer.
I beat you because I'm better than you in every sense of the word.
Anybody who has loaded up some clips of our promo work on YouTube can clearly hear for themselves that I can out talk you.
Anyone who has watched highlights of our careers if there is such a thing in your case can see that I can out wrestle you.
I'm bigger, faster, stronger and a hell of a lot better looking.
I can't just out talk and out wrestle you I can outclass you as well.
In Chicago on December 5th I have to out fight you.
I say that I have to because the first time I held this belt I lost it on my first defense in the most embarrassing performance of my career.
I'm extremely proud to have beaten QDT, but I never felt like a champion especially with the way I lost it.
Beating you won't just prove that I can win the title but I can defend it successfully too.
History can't repeat itself, I won't let it.
If that means I have to drag you out onto Madison Street in the heart of Chicago and stomp your face into the curb to the point the people you're closest to won't recognize you.
I will.
If that means I have to pin your dominant arm between the ringpost and the steel steps then bash the steps with a chair to the point you have to wipe your ass with the wrong hand the rest of your life.
I will.
If that means I have to never leave the ring and beat you in a Street Fight with pure technical wrestling just to embarrass you.
I will.
Luckily for you I won't have to do any of those things to beat you.
That's the kind of effort and extremes that it would take to beat the best the division has to offer.
But that's not you.
The entire time you were champion the two biggest stars in the division at the time were stealing your spotlight against each other.
When does a champion get left off a Pay Per View even if they're not defending the title?
When that champion is Terra Walker.
I kept my eye on AW even when I wasn't here because I knew the right opportunity would come along.
And that opportunity was you winning the championship.
I could have started back at the bottom and worked my way back to the belt but a wise man once told me you always take the easiest path possible.
That path was you.
