ꜰᴏʀᴛɪᴛᴜᴅᴇ

Walking out of the back together, wearing matching FightSmart ring attire, is all three members of Fortitude: Katherine Hastings, Zooey Deschanel and Sam Kidsgrove. They stand side-by-side on top of the stage as they look at their adoring fans, their faces beaming with positive energy.

The crowd’s cheers pick up momentum once more following their ring introduction. Katherine presses forward down the ramp whilst Kidsgrove puts an arm around Zooey, kissing her on the cheek before they follow Katherine’s lead. They all interact with the fans on the way down towards the ring, high-fiving as many hands as possible. 

Katherine approaches the ring apron closest to the hard camera and climbs up. Meanwhile, Kidsgrove jumps onto the apron facing the ramp before Zooey and just like the gentleman he is, lowers the rope for her to get into the ring. When she does, they both immediately go to the corners flanking Katherine and stand on the middle turnbuckles. In unison, all three team members perform their signature taunts: Kidsgrove performs the “Double Guns” and Zooey waves at the crowd whilst Katherine poses with both her arms out wide, her palms facing upwards.

Once finished, Sam and Zooey both hop down from their respective middle turnbuckles whilst Katherine closes her hands and relaxes both arms back down to her side. After a moment, she sidesteps to her right, wiping both feet on the mat before finally bending over to enter into the ring, signing the cross as she passes through the ropes. Once inside the ring together, all three team members remove their entrance attires. Kidsgrove plants another kiss on Zooey’s cheek whilst Katherine inserts her mouth guard and then begins bouncing around on the spot eager for the match to start.
