Corey Black vs. Regan Voorhees
The lights in the arena fade slowly to black. A booming voice echoes throughout, the beginning of "Omerta" by Lamb of God plays.
"Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward.
Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both.
For a wounded man will shall say to his assailant.
'If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven.'

The crowd picked up the lyrics and has began shouting them at the top of their lungs as the song kicks in, a white spotlights hits the stage and there, standing in all his glory is the King of All Wrestlers Corey Black. Clad in his ring gear with a fur piece that goes over his head and rests upon his shoulders, a long cape protrudes from the back of the fur, purple on the inside and black on the outside. A helm sits upon Black's head, encompassing his entire cranium. His eyes pierce through the mouth of the beastly helm, mythical surely. It appears to be dragon-like in nature gray leaning black in color and glowing green eyes, but alas a crown sits upon it as well. Corey stands at the top of the ramp for a few moments, looking out into the raging crowd. At his leisure, he begins walking down toward the ring, almost stalking it. He walks over to the steps, scaling them and entering the ring through the ropes to a roaring crowd. He slowly removes the creature helm, looking out on the sea of humanity appreciative of his presence. The helm now placed in the corner shoots a few bursts of steam from its nose, delighting and popping the crowd once more! Corey takes the fur and cape off, dropping it next to the helm as a crew member retrieves them and Corey stands in his corner, stoic, waiting for the arrival of his opponent: Regan Voorhees.
The Action Tron alights with an image of a black-and-white claymation pig. The swine, clad in top hat and tailed-tuxedo puffs greedily on a cigar, a porcine robber baron. A buzzsaw screams through the scene, teeth rending the wealthy swine in two as red splatters the screen. Blood trickles down, sullying the white background to spell out...
REGAN VOORHEES
The buzzsaw screech stops as the lights go red, turning the arena to a killing floor. Amid the crimson sea of humanity, a pristine white spotlight tracks up the aisle to the entryway, where it finds Regan sitting crosslegged, her head bowed beneath the hood of her translucent white raincoat. Beneath the see-thru fabric is her sanguine-tinted ring gear, accented with a pattern of weaving white vines adorned with blossoming black camellias.
Her pre-match meditation over, the Duchess' eyes snap open as she vaults limberly to a standing position. On her way to the ring she ignores the crowd, instead taking the time stretch her arms and neck. With a saunter, she climbs the ring steps, pausing at the ropes to pull her hood back and shake loose a mane of shoulder-length blond hair. One hand over the ropes, she glances to the crowd, offering them the slightest of photogenic smirks. From there, she removes her raincoat, neatly folding it on the top rope for the ring attendant, before finally entering the ring. Finding her corner, Regan does a quick stretch of each leg, before hooking her elbows under the top rope. Leaning forward, she gives Black's corner a dagger's stare as she waits for the opening bell.
The referee stands between both competitors for a moment and then proceeds to ring the bell!
Billy: Here we go!!Black shoots in for a lockup, but Regan evades underneath, quickly hitting the ropes and launching herself at Black with a forearm! As Black falls to the canvas, Regan rolls forward and mounts Black, raining down forearms! Black mostly covers up, and eventually is able to time it right and grab Regan’s arm as it comes down, and he throws her off! Regan rolls through and to her feet, and Black gets to his feet as well. Regan smiles at her early advantage as Black gives a look of determination. Regan quickly darts for a clothesline, but Black goes lower, nailing a knee strike into the ribs of Regan! Black quickly runs to the ropes, hitting another knee strike to the side of Regan’s head! He wastes little time, grabbing hold of Regan’s hair and lifting her back up to her feet...hoisting her up on his shoulders...Death Valley Driver! He scrambles to pin her!

Regan Kicks out!
Chris Avery: FIrst nearfall of the match!Billy: That was almost over quick! I thought he had her!Black hoists Regan up again, looking for a suplex or perhaps a brainbuster- Regan drives her right knee down and into the top of his head! This allows Regan to fall from his grip as she lands on her feet. Regan quickly hammers a couple of forearms into the lower back of Black sending him forward. She grabs hold of his arms, looking for a tiger suplex, but he smashes his head backward into hers, like a headbutt! Regan backs off and Black quickly hits the ropes, V-TRIGGER-NO! Regan ducks! She hits the ropes, and nails Black with a flying knee strike of her own!
Billy: Back and forth matchup in the early going!Chris Avery: Knee strike from Regan has given her the advantage, for now!Black quickly rolls to the ropes, using them to aid himself in getting to his feet. Regan charges forward but a back elbow from Black halts her advance. Black follows that up with a couple of knees to the midsection before Regan answers back with one of her own! Regan looks for a clothesline, but Black dodges it and sends Regan into the near corner. Black charges in again, but Regan gets a boot up into his face! Black falls to the canvas! Regan quickly exits the ring and heads to the top rope...flying DDT as Black got to his feet!
Billy: Regan just spiked Corey Black’s head into the mat!The pin!

SHOULDER UP!
Billy: She almost had him!Regan rolls off Black, and lays in wait as The King of All Wrestlers stumbles to his feet. Regan charges in, and levels him with a pump kick to the face! The crowd boos loudly as Regan seems to be in control of the match now.
Chris Avery: The crowd letting Regan know how they feel!Regan quickly shoots the crowd a look of disdain before focusing back on Black, stomping at his shoulders as he lays on the canvas! She hoists him up, locking in a front-face lock. She folds his arm over… THE ABBATOIR-NO! Black spins out of the front-face lock! Leaping knee strike by Black, it catches Regan on the jaw! He follows it up with a couple of elbow strikes that find their mark as well! Regan is backed into the ropes, and Black hits a hard knife edge chop before whipping Regan across the ring. Regan rebounds off the ropes and leaps for a crossbody, but Black catches her! Regan quickly hits rapidfire elbow strikes to the side of Black’s head, forcing him to drop her. She quickly pivots to behind Black and hits a vicious clothesline to the back of his head! Black crumbles to the mat and, smelling blood, Regan jumps down and hammers at the back of his head with a series of unprotected elbow strikes! After about 10 vicious elbows, Regan emerges with a crazed look in her eyes.
Billy: Regan could be on verge of beating Corey Black here!Regan backs up, lying in wait. Black slowly stumbles to his feet, holding his head in clear danger...BELLE RINGER! Regan nails the Codebreaker! Black is out!

BLACK KICKS OUT! Regan can’t believe it!
Chris Avery: What a close call! Regan was THAT close to moving on in the tournament!Regan sits up in shock, as Black crawls to the ropes, again using them to steady himself as he gets to a knee, and then up to his feet. Regan screams and charges in, but Black ducks a clothesline and elevates Regan up and over the top rope-but she lands on the apron! Regan hits another stiff forearm to the back of Black’s head and he stumbles forward. Regan pulls back and springboards in-BLACK CATCHES HER! He repositions her...TAKING THE KINGS RANSOM!
Billy: THATS GOTTA BE IT! KINGS RANSOM!Black hooks BOTH legs!

REGAN KICKS OUT!
Now it’s Corey Black who can’t believe it!
Regan fights to her feet, but Black hits a superkick to the knee and the crowd cheers!
Billy: HERE IT COMES!Regan falls to one knee and Black hits the ropes...THE ROYAL BEHEADING!
NO!
Regan rolled away and Black missed! Regan kicks Black in the midsection and drops him with a spinning neckbreaker! Regan continues the assault on Black’s neck/shoulder area with a few well placed stomps, and Black rolls out onto the apron. Regan bides her time for a moment before darting across the ring; she picks up speed as she hits the ropes, looking for perhaps a spear through the ropes but Black ducks and connects with a perfectly timed kick! Regan falls against the ropes, and Black pulls her out onto the apron.
Billy: Both competitors are on the apron! This could be dangerous!Regan instinctively pushed Black away, and follows it up with a knee lift to his midsection! She looks for the Hammerlock DDT again, but Black shoves her off-Superkick! Regan teeters, but Black catches her before she can fall...BRAINBUSTER ON THE APRON!
Billy: BAH GAWD THATS IT! REGAN IS OUT!Chris Avery: Yeah, thats gotta be it! What a horrific move by Corey Black!Both competitors fall to the floor, but Black is up near instantly, while Regan is not moving at all. Black casually grabs Regan by the hair, lifting her up, and tossing her into the ring. He slides in and hooks the far leg for the pin.

Chris Avery: REGAN KICKED OUT! REGAN KICKED OUT!Billy: REGAN KICKED OUT! COREY BLACK CANNOT BELIEVE IT AND QUITE FRANKLY, NEITHER CAN I!Black sits back on his knees, in shock at the resilience of Regan! Despite kicking out, she is still barely moving. Black runs to the ropes...springboards...THE FLIGHT OF RODAN!

Billy: REGAN VOORHEES WILL NOT STAY DOWN!Corey Black is APOPLECTIC at the resilience shown by Regan! He turns to the crowd and does a cut throat taunt, telling them this match is about to be over. He hooks Regan up for the BURNING HAMMER...but Regan somehow fights it off! Several elbows and Black drops Regan, and she hits a leaping knee to his jaw, followed by a clothesline! Regan is screaming at Black to get up! Black crawls to his knees, and stands...Regan leaps for a jumping DDT-Black catches her and tosses her off, and she knocks into the referee-RED MIST FROM REGAN!
Billy: RED MIST! The referee didn’t see it!Black scrambles to clear his eyes, and he does so...just in time for Regan to SMASH him with a roaring elbow! Right between the eyes! Black crumbles, Regan scrambles into the pin!

Regan yells “thats it!” and lifts Black, looking again for The Abbatoir, but Black rams her into the corner, and then hits a quick enziguri! Regan stumbles out of the corner...Black hits a german suplex with a bridge!

Black again hoists Regan up-she shoves him off-Superkick! NO! Regan ducked and goes behind Black, TIGRESS SUPLEX..
NO!!
Black just fucking flips her upside down..
Billy: DUNEKILLER!! DUNEKILLER!!Black goes for the Tombstone but Regan claps her thighs together stunning Black and she lands on her feet behind Black and shoves him into the turnbuckles!! Black stumbles back and REGAN HITS THE ABATTOIR!!
BLACK ROLLS THROUGH AND STUMBLES UP AND SHE HITS IT A SECOND TIME!!
Billy: BACK TO BACK ABATTOIR DDTS!!Chris Avery: OH MY GOD NO WAY!! OH MY GOD NO WAY!!Regan scoots back and covers Black and can barely lift a leg!

Billy: SHITFIRE SHITBALLS ON SHITLOGS YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME?!Chris Avery: REGAN VOORHEES JUST DEFEATED COREY BLACK!!Billy: SHITTHUNDER AND SHITLIGHTING OUT OF MY SHITTYASS I DONT WHAT?! WHAT?!!? YOU GOTTA BE WHAT?!The crowd is mostly STUNNED, barely even booing as Regan sits up and the ref raises her hand..
THEN it finally hits the crowd as they all start to boo!
Billy: OH MY GOD!Chris Avery: REGAN VOORHEES IS GOING TO THE SEMI-FINALS NEXT WEEK!Billy: REGAN VOORHEES WILL MEET TEO BLAZE IN THE SEMI-FINALS!! THE WINNER OF THAT MATCH UP CAN GO TO WRESTLER OF THE YEAR MATCH AT TURMOIL!Chris Avery: TEO AND REGAN ARE LITERALLY ONE WIN AWAY FROM ONE OF THE BIGGEST PRIZES.. THE BIGGEST MATCH IN AW HISTORY!Regan is up and in the corner completely exhausted as Corey Black rolls out of the ring.
Billy: I LITERALLY CAN NOT BELIEVE WHAT JUST HAPPENED RIGHT NOW IM SHITSPEECHLESS!!
Chris Avery: IM WITH YOU ALL THE WAY!!We fade to a commercial break.
