November 13, 2021
We see Kitsumi standing next to a tree. Around said tree, leaves are seen sitting on the brick courtyard, slowly descending from the branches above.
Her serene smile sits on her face as she looks towards the school standing a healthy football field distance away. She taps her fingers against her skirted hip, the impatience becoming quite evident on her face.
From her left, we can see Roddy Zalez approaching. Roddy is wearing his dress shirt with the sleeves rolled-up, black slacks, his Salvatores, and a black vest. The Raybans appear to be out of the outfit today.
He stands on her right, joining her in looking closely at the building.
“Doc made sure the bomb is set-up. I made sure he got the hell out of dodge and that none of the cameras will incriminate any of us.”
Kitsumi’s smile widens.
“And the victims?”
Roddy shrugs, his arms crossing in front of his chest.
“It looks like your…keepers…have made their way into an isolated area. It looks like the shorter teacher bailed not long after the meeting started. Your dad and that other woman ran off to fuck each other, just like you thought. Last I saw, your mom was still waiting for the dean to come back.”
Kitsumi wordlessly nods, continuing to tap her fingers against her hip.
“Hey Kit…”
Kitsumi’s fingers stop.
“Where did you get that newspaper?”
“Hello there. My name is Tina Timely.
I am here to remind you that time is just an illusion. Its existence is indicative entirely as a manmade creation. If humans as a whole would cease measuring it, its entire concept would no longer exist.
As such, it is not a surprise that things created after a certain moment would find themselves existing before its said creation. Anything is possible with time.
Because time is a falsehood
It is a lie
So remember

“Roddy I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
“Kit, are you okay?”
“I am perfectly okay, Roddy. How long until the boom?”
“Any moment now…”
“Distract me. Let’s talk about our match.”
“Okay…so we’re facing the Cruiserweight Champion—a title we already have claim for—and the former Cruiserweight Champion who we pinned to stake the claim.”
“All while being the number one contender for the Tag Titles.”
“Yes, we are poised to claim them all.”
“And that IS your plan, correct?’
“OUR plan, but yes.”
“If it were between the two of us, I have no qualms giving you the belt. I am happy proving I am the best for Him and Him alone.”
Roddy nods, but glances at her without turning his head.
“Well…we’re going to be having our work cut out for us. We’ve proven we’re better than Terra, we’ve beaten the CruiserClash stalwarts in Red, White, and Bruised, we’ve managed to scare Tsukiko and Paul Mall off CruiserClash for the time being…what the hell does JC Keeton stand a chance for?”
“He is just another victim in the line of bodies we leave. He was a surprise to everyone, Terra notwithstanding, but his surprise has faded. He is but another member of the roster now. His chances are just as good as Terra’s.”
“None?”
“None at all.”
“So we win this. Then what?”
“Stake our claim for the Cruiserweight Title, despite the rematch by Terra. We both pinned her. We both deserve that title shot by JC. And given we ARE allies…”
Roddy nods his head, the gulp from him swallowing being quite audible.
“…we can work together for our one, unanimous goal.”
“Me as champion…”
“You as champion…”
“The two of us as CHAMPIONS…”
“The two of us as champions…”
“Ruling over CruiserClash…”
“…as the Rulers of Our Kind.”
“Me on the step to ruling over the world…”
“…me on the step to ruling over His heart.”
Roddy raises his fist, something Kitsumi quickly bumps with her own.
With their conversation suitably finished, Kitsumi resumes tapping her fingers against her hip.
Both of their eyes quickly turn towards the schoolgirl who approaches the front doors.
It’s the black haired schoolgirl. The one making problems for Kitsu—
“Hideyo?”
Roddy looks over at Kitsumi’s sudden shock.
His own eyes widen at the absolute scared look on her face.
“No…this isn’t how it’s supposed to go…”
“Kit, what’s going on?”
“She isn’t supposed to be here. She shouldn’t know to come here on a Saturday. The school would normally be closed and Hideyo wouldn’t…there’s no way that she would know to…unless…”
Kitsumi turns towards Roddy. The latter is stunned by the seriousness and urgency that she asks him the next question.
“How did you know about the newspaper?”
Roddy is hesitant, too much so for Kitsumi.
“Answer the question!”
Her voice is raised but quiet enough for Hideyo not to hear her. She fiddles with front door, trying to get it open.
“Doc said that he got it from the blonde one. Minami. She found it in the trash and opted to share it with him, who shared it with me.”
He holds his hands up, trying to wain her down to no success.
She turns back towards Hideyo, who brings the glass on the front door open with her elbow. She unlocks the door and enters. Kitsumi takes one step forward but is stopped by a hand on her shoulder. Roddy’s hand
“Kit, that school is going to blow at any moment. You try and stop her, you’ll be just as gone as she's going to be.”
She brushes him off, turning her face back towards him.
“You don’t understand! She isn’t supposed to be here! It was only supposed to be my mom! If things are changing, than I can’t counteract them! I can’t stop Her from interfering!”
“Kit, calm down, just tell me what’s going on.”
“No! Roddy, you don’t get it! You CAN’T get it! There’s so much more going on here and I’m sorry that I got you involved, but now that you are…!”
Roddy hesitates to grab her by the shoulders, realizing the situation and its importance, even if not fully grasping what is occurring and what has his ally so scared.
Despite this, he still clutches her shoulders carefully.
“Kit, please, MAKE me understand.”
Despite this, Kitsumi lets out a humorless chuckle.
Then another.
And another.
And another.
And another.
And another.
And another.
And another.
And another.
And another.
And another.
And anoth—
“I appreciate your attempts, Roddy, but unfortunately, what is done is done.”
Roddy lets her go, almost like touching her burned him.
He grimaces, taking a step back, holding his hands in front of him.
“Good. That was…a fast realization. Collateral damage is never fun, Kit, but…unfortunately—”
“She’s already made her choice,” both of them say at the same.
They lock eyes once again, Roddy’s eyes widening at what he sees.
“Is there something wrong Roddy?”
He turns around, looking back towards the school.
“No. Nothing wrong, Kit. Nothing at all…”
“Exactly. There’s nothing wrong.”
She turns towards the school, folding her hands behind her back and smiling serenely.
“Nothing at all.”
The boom happens.
