~~~}}}ASPIRATIONAL… BEING HONORABLE!!{{{~~~
As the scene twists around and comes into focus. It begins with a video montage. One of which shows every branch of the United States armed service members. Some images of a bird's eye view of various countries that have service men and women in them. Thrown in here and there are images of one Aphriya Adler in camo gear that the service men and women are wearing. Her flying in a helicopter. Training with them. At the end she is standing among dozens of them. Saluting them. Shaking their hands.
That swirls away into a much different image. What is revealed is Aphriya sitting on an iron bench looking at a stone carving. As the camera moves into a rested position. The young blonde rises to her feet. Her face wears a smile.
"This doesn't fully resonate with the entire fanbase or even performers of Action Wrestling. I know that. But to me, the veteran's day and memorial day celebrations happen once a year. I feel this is not enough. All Americans should memorialize those that made the ultimate sacrifice to help keep this country as it is. We also need to support, help, and lift up our veterans all year round. Now I know there are organizations out there constantly doing things for veterans and their families. But it isn't enough."
She pauses a moment as she scans the monument before continuing.
"Now I know, none of this is relevant to my upcoming battle against a fellow Adler, not related, Cassidy. This will not be a normal pro wrestling match either. It is going to be a Mixed Martial Arts contest. That's within my wheelhouse as they say."
The young blonde smiles as she remains fixated on the monument standing before her.
"Another super exciting battle for me. Not only am I battling again, in a mixed martial arts style of contest. This is for the C B S All Access championship of Action Wrestling. My ninth professional wrestling match and it is for a title. Uber exciting."
She slightly jumps showing her excitement. She turns and faces the camera now. There are reflective designs on her outfit that gleam some as she turns.
"I just want to say that I am honored to be of this, and for this country."
A slight pause.
"Woo-hoo y'all. Turmoil Chicago is going to be crazy sick. So much action. So much gold on the line. I'm just as excited to be witnessing the matches Monday night, as I am being in one."
Her eyes wander some, somewhere in the distance behind the camera. As she continues her eyes return to the screen.
"After not being able to overcome the challenge of The Search and win it. I was still sought out to become a member of the roster. I was shocked. But I signed and was off to the races. Admittedly, had a little bit of a rough start in the ring. But y'all, this Bad Apple Bottom Gene has found the right path and I'm running. I'm so happy to be here and feel really blessed. But I must never lose my focus. I've got a fight coming up after a string of wins. It's the champ. The big one as the saying goes. Lights bright. Center stage. Everyone is watching. A true pressure cooker."
A purposeful pause.
"All of that being on Mister Adler. He is the champ. He has to live up to it. The saying always has been, journey to the championship is always easier than holding onto the championship."
She smiles brightly before continuing.
"I could be one of those technical people. Purely focused on strategy. Overcoming the height and weight disparity. But that's plain boring. Plus I do that within myself and at training sessions. Nah I'd rather poke some at the fact that Cassidy seems a bit too into himself. Only caring about his image. His brand. His documentary. Yes I went to that. Pretty messed up Mister Adler. Using people to boost yourself up. But really not that surprising considering the way you wrestle."
She crouches down. Looking deep into the viewfinder. Her eyes sparkle.
"Cassidy, I see you as a joke. A joke as a human being. And a joke as a champion. You have no honor for this sport and business. I usually enjoy getting a little crazy and funny with these things. This time and only this time I'll stick with a slightly mute and more serious tone. Cassidy. You're straight up a prick. You have no honor for this sport. It seems to be no honor period. That championship deserves to have someone honorable and respectful holding it. And on Monday night at Turmoil in Chicago Illinois, I am going to do everything in my power to make sure you go down and stay down. Truly looking forward to the fight. Hope you're ready. Because I will be. See y'all there."
She finishes with a light smile before standing and walking behind the camera, the scene swirls to black.
