An hour has past since the shocking end to Execution. Vanessa has since returned to her hotel suite and washed off all of the body paint. She's back to herself again, no longer the Succubus that hosted a PPV. So many memorable moments happened, as they tend to do at these kinds of events. However, the one that she couldn't get out of her mind happened before the first bell rang. The moment she spotted Zero in the audience. Although she told herself that her mind was just playing tricks on her, she knew that it wasn't. He was there, and as long as he was there, she couldn't truly feel safe or happy.
Tears start to rain down Vanessa's face as she looks out the window at the night sky. A soft lip bite was the only thing preventing her from completely sobbing. Seconds later, her phone rings. With an outstretched arm, she grabs a hold of the cellular device. Her phone's ring tone, "Dance through the danger", eases her mind a little until she sees who's calling. It was Kaiyah. The woman who gave her the confidence to pursue a career in Action Wrestling. One of the people she trusts the most and arguably her closest friend.....who's married to the man that she may eventually be forced to try to kill. The phone slips out of her grasp as she slowly retracts her arm. She quickly grabs her pillow and cries into it. Meanwhile, the phone stops ringing. She was alone again. Alone with her thoughts and fears. It was like her act during the pre-show. Fans would pass by and hear her cries for help, but they kept walking because they couldn't do anything about it, nor were they supposed to. Unfortunately, this was real. Instead of them not being able to reach out to her, she couldn't reach out to anyone. They were all so close. Countless people that she was certain would be there for her if only they knew what was happening, but she couldn't tell them. She had to be the one that passed them all by, faking joy whenever she felt pain. That sighting was a cruel reminder of what was at stake. If he caught her trying to get help from anyone, ESPECIALLY CJ or Kaiyah, she could kiss her parents goodbye.
Four months....for over four months, she's been suffering in silence. Vanessa felt that she couldn't afford to be anything less than cheerful around anyone. If they saw even a little of the river of tears that she has cried already, they would know something was wrong. They would ask questions until she would break and admit the truth....and then there would be consequences. Seconds turned to minutes. Minutes became an hour of crying until she couldn't anymore. All she could do was tremble. She had to let out as much sadness as possible so that she could put on a happy face in the morning. A lot of people will benefit from the positive energy she brings to the world, but she isn't one of them. Not as long as Zero has a hold of her.
