The screen slowly fades into Tony Romo sitting in a chair.
Romo: Hello, everyone, I’m Tony Romo and today as my special guest in the studio I have Red, White, And Bruised, welcome ladies.
Karlie: Thanks for having us.
Romo: Everyone who follows Action Wrestling knows the success you’ve brought to the tag team divisions on Clash and Cruiserclash, and fans of your long friendship, for the people watching today, tells us how you first met.
Nikola: First just let me start by saying, you were no Tom Brady, but to answer your question, we met in 2007, at team USA’s training camp, and got assigned to be roommates, and both made the team as teenagers, and we had great chemistry on the ice.
Romo: And off it.
Nikola: Well not in the way you think, did we become best friends absolutely, did we become anything more than that no.
Romo: Okay, so knowing that you were both members of a dominant USA women’s team, how did being part of a dominant team help you when you transitioned into wrestling.
Karlie: It was the will to win.
Nikola: Exactly, when you're part of such a dominant team it ingrains into you a winning attitude, and that’s what Karlie and I have always done, win, whether on the ice or inside a wrestling ring.
Romo: Speaking of Wrestling, you sought your training outside of the United States, choosing to train in Canada, what factors went into the decision.
Karlie: Canada has a great professional wrestling tradition, like the United States, but our decision to train in Canada, well the Clark Brothers are old friends of my Dad, he used to work security at wrestling events, and even dabbled in wrestling for a bit, he didn’t wrestle for any major promotions, and is pretty much retired these days, so when we wanted to enter professional wrestling the Clark Brothers decided to train us.
Romo: Karlie, for most of your early career you wrestled as a singles wrestler, through various promotions, throughout the country most notably UCI, New Blood, and for the last several years Action wrestling, now I mean no offense but singles success has eluded you, was it tough always being close to a singles title but not winning one.
Karlie: Does it weigh on me of course, when you watch people that are less talented, win something that you want it burns at you no doubt.
Romo: When you made the decision to enter the tag team ranks, was Nikola your first choice.
Karlie: She was my only choice, there was no one I trust more than her.
Romo: Nikola, were you concerned about entering wrestling considering your career as a model.
Nikola: Honestly I don’t see what modeling has to do with wrestling, so no I wasn’t concerned, I know I good I am, and I know how good Karlie is, when she called me about being her tag team partner I jumped at the opportunity, and I mean let’s face it Karlie and I have become a dynasty, wrestling's version of the New England Patriots.
Romo seemed offended by Nikola's comment but continued.
Romo: No doubt, Red, White and Bruised have had tremendous success in Action Wrestling, the only team to hold both the World and Cruiserweight tag team titles, and you’ve had your ups and downs. Was there ever a time when you felt like ending the team and going your separate ways.
Karlie: No.
Nikola: Never, we can wrestle singles and still be strong as a team.
Romo: speaking of singles, the cruiserweight number one contender tournament is ongoing , and this week you face off against each other, and through my research, i think this is the first time you have wrestled each other, what can the fans in Indianapolis expect from this battle of Red, White and Bruised.
Nikola: You played in Indianapolis, so you know they have inept their fans are, imagine thinking Peyton Manning is better than Tom Brady, but I digress, the undeserving fans in Indianapolis, are going to get a match they will never forget, we may be tag team partner, but in training we don’t hold back, and we won’t in our match.
Romo: Who wins your match and who wins the tournament?
Karlie: As for who wins our match, you’ll all have to wait and see, as for who wins the tournament, it’s whomever wins our match, because come on, who is left that can actually beat either of us.
Romo: Alright, then I guess that concludes this part of the interview, before this interview we asked Action Wrestling fans to submit questions, I’ve chosen a few if you would like to answer them.
Nikola: Well I have somewhere I need to be, but I guess i can answer a few questions, as long as they are not stupid ones.
Karlie: Okay ask away.
Romo: Okay, this first one really isn’t a question, it's more of a comment from Brady Tomson, who thinks Nikola is better looking and hotter than his wife.
Nikola smirks.
Romo: The next question is for Karlie from Wendy Tolson from New Orleans, Louisiana, who asked how you balance your personal, professional and business life, and still maintain a high level of performance.
Karlie: Luckily, at the church I have a great staff to lighten my workload, My personal well that’s more of anyone business, yes, most people know about it, doesn’t mean I’m going to talk about it, and I maintain a high level of performance through constant training, you don’t become the best at what you do by being lazy.
Romo: Nikola, Adrianna Lima from Brazil asks what is the beef between you and Giselle, does it come from personal jealousy.
Nikola: first of all Adrianna, I know who you are and yes there is jealousy, Giselle has been jealous of me since I began modeling, she realized that she is the old hag being put out to pasture for me, and i mean look at her, she has more plastic in her face than I have in my purse.
Romo: Okay, Milt Avruskin, from Toronto Canada asked what is the worst injury you’ve sustained in wrestling.
Nikola: Hello, Milt, have you been watching lately, for me it was a fireball to the face.
Karlie: Luckily I haven’t suffered a serious injury.
Romo: Okay, last question, from Amanda Mews, Karlie and Nikola if for some reason you don’t win the Cruiserweight contender tournament, will you go after a fourth reign as cruiserweight tag champions, or pursue another singles title.
Nikola: If it were to come to that, we could go win the cruiserweight tag titles for a fourth time, the division is so weak right now, it wouldn't take much for us to win the title and save the division one again.
Karlie: Yes we could do that, but you can’t prolong the inevitable. Eventually, singles gold will come to Red, White, and Bruised and whether it’s me or Nikola, when that happens, the foundation of Action Wrestling will be shaken to its core once again.
Romo: Well, that’s all for today, I’d like to thank Karlie and Nikola for being here today, for CBS Sports I’m Tony Romo and we’re out.
Karlie and Nikola are finishing up a training session, they high five and sit on the ring apron.
Karlie: This would normally be the time where Nikola or myself, or both would be tearing our opponent or opponents a new one, but this isn’t that time.
Nikola: Exactly, yes this is the battle of the bestie’s and after this week, one of us will be moving on in the cruiserweight contender tournament and the other will the ringside cheering the other on, this match has no losers.
Karlie: Well said, after this our match is over, we have a clear path to the finals, I mean some chick who has had one match, doesn’t have the skills to beat either of us, JJ Biggs may as well just name the winner of our match the number one contender.
Nikola: As a team where the best of the best, as individuals you’ve seen what we can do, and it’s better than anyone in the cruiserweight division.
Karlie: And that isn't Red, White, and Bruised bragging, it’s the facts.
Nikola: Let’s get something to eat, I’m buying.
Karlie: Let’s go.
Romo: Hello, everyone, I’m Tony Romo and today as my special guest in the studio I have Red, White, And Bruised, welcome ladies.
