Character Name: Luc Langerby
Nickname: The Father
Hometown: Des Moines, Iowa
Height:
Weight: 200 lbs
Alignment: (Face/Tweener/Heel): Tweener
In-Ring Style: Brawler
Bio: Growing up as a child often neglected by his own family due to his father's drug issues and abuse of his mother, the man now known as Luc Langerby ran away from home in his teens and began exploring rural America as a form of escape. Abandoning any ties to his birth family, he took on the name Luc Langerby and pissed away his youth in a haze of drugs and alcohol. His one saving grace during this time was his talent with the guitar and ability to smooth talk almost anyone in order to get what he wanted. While doing odd jobs and finding work wherever he could to get by, Luc formed a strong bond with many other traveling vagrants who were disulioned with society. The group, or "flock" as Luc would take to calling them, would slowly but surely be put under his spell. Soon they too were taking the last name of Langerby, some only in exchange for drugs or other forms of compensation, but others willingly. While Luc bualks at the term "cult", the Langerbys are feared throughout rural America. But to sustain their lavish lifestyle, one needs a steady income. Luc, who can brawl with the best of them, saw Action Wrestling as an opportunity to spread his word and get paid at the same time.
Attire: Luc is often clad in a dirty, somewhat torn white suit over a white singlet. He ditches the suit jacket while in the ring and wrestles in the pants and singlet.
Theme song: "In Hell I'll Be in Good Company" by The Dead South
Pic Base: Alex Ebert.
Entrance:
The lights dim and the catchy whistled tune of "In Hell I'll Be in Good Company" begins to trickle through the speakers. Luc Langerby slowly strides out to the stage, whistling along with the music. He is flanked by members of the Langerby flock, all of which begin to hum along with the tune. The group walk down the ramp, but as they reach the ring Luc turns and orders them to follow no further. He climbs onto the apron and slides through the ropes. He smirks at the crowd, then slowly removes his suit jacket. He tosses it out to the Langerbys, who catch it and retreat back up the ramp.
